I really love the concept behind this game ! The characters are really endearing and you care for Leo, and also you want to know what's going on, finishing track 1 left me with questions, dammit. There is this cartoonish quality to the game's artstyle, in terms of animations, and sprite, its really looking nice !  

I don't feel legitimate to give feedback about your game, I don't even know how to make one, but maybe you'd like to read my experience so far ! As someone previously said there are some issues with the combat system as of now, it's hard to even criticize it because each battle is scripted, but some things felt odd, such as the defend system, i think the defense bar is a little too low, and if you don't manage to block every attack you can die quite easily. The defense bar should also recharge faster if one does not manage to properly defend a character on one turn, the animate can attack the same character next and finish him off. There needs to be a way to restore MP while in combat, if you don't perfect an attack, you're not sure you're gonna kill the animate before he does. 

Anyway this is just my opinion, but overall, you have something great on your hands, and I'm waiting patiently for the next episode <3

Let me preface this by saying I welcome constructive feedback, hearing thoughts from players helps me make the game even better! (And thank you VERY much for your purchase. It means the world to me!) 

These are all great thoughts and I really appreciate that you’re sharing them with me. Animation and writing are both things that I spend a lot of time on and I’m glad they’re paying off! (Not to say the rest of the game isn’t something I spend a massive amount of time on as well haha) 

When it comes to your combat concerns, I definitely see where you’re coming from and it’s nice to hear previous feedback expanded upon with shield point balancing. Recharging faster on a missed turn is a great idea. Another variation of that I’m considering is a character with less than a quarter HP recovering SP much faster. I have seen players absolutely fly through the game with no difficulty in combat, so striking a balance between making fights difficult for those who fly through the game but not impossible for less experienced players is something I’m looking to improve in future episodes.
