Hi guys,

In our couple of last updates we changed/improved how Land Claiming works, add Wheat, Cabbage plants, Beehives and Windmills! Link to the last devlog here: https://terravale.itch.io/terravale/devlog/263037/windmill-update

I would really appreciate feedback for game progression:

  • How is beehive (Easy to use/understand)
  • How is Windmill (Easy to use/understand)
  • Is leveling speed too fast/slow
  • Are rewards for level up ok
  • % of certain talents are they too low/high

But any feedback to this update or game in general would be awesome. Especially feedback around prices/speed of growing/harvest quantity would be good. And feedback about how easy it is to pick up this game would be great.

game play video to get you started. Its a little bit out of date but still will be helpful. And in game there is instruction page.

Game is still in very early stages so there is a huge room for improvement. Ideas for future development is welcome too :)

Hi Terravale!

Played your game for a while :)  Really nice game for this early stage! Some aspects to consider moving forward: Try to add some more animations and sound, I think it would add much more depth to your game:) Regarding the walking, something is a bit weird there, maybe you should forward to the way your character is facing? Additionally when you plow the lot, maybe add some kind of a loading bar? so the player would be able to know when to expect it to be ready. Anyway I had a lot of fun playing your game, thanks for sharing!

Hope this review was helpful:)

Hi Shifful,

Thank you very much for the feedback and suggestions!

About the animation and sounds we agree completely. The only problem that we need to overcome is to learn how to do them :) but I guess that will come with time.

I will definitely think about the progress bar for the plowing as a feedback of that action.

Can I ask you for feedback around finding instructions and generally how easy/fast was it to pick up the game mechanics?

Hi Terravale,

For music and sounds I suggest: https://freepd.com/ & https://freesfx.co uk both are amazing websites that contains large amount of totally free sounds and music resources.

As for the game mechanics, It was quite straight forward, both the actual buttons configuration and the mechanics such as filling the water bucket or plowing the ground. The nice instructions button at the top left really helps :)

We just released new Update but from the last time we had like 3-4 updates have a look at first message in this topic :)
