I created a collection of text characters using the halant font, since I couldn't find anything that suited my needs. Here is a link to the page with a free download:

I did quite a lot of tuning to the origin of the letters since I had to do them in blender, and as far as I know they are all centered well, but if there are any issues, drop a comment.
