I can't deliver the beers and jerky to the buffalo leaders, say that I don't even have it in my inventory. how do i solve?

yes, the mission asks for 10 beers and 5 jerkys, i already have everything.
well you should be able to find thane on the trail the one right before the village, once you give him the stuff it should let you press on foreward.
