Because the game was built on Widows, the executable file must have the executable permission set (+x). Open up a Terminal and enter this to navigate to Blamyvog folder:

cd <PATH_TO_BLAMYVOG>/Blamyvog Demo Mac.app/Contents/MacOS/

And enter this to add the executable flag:

chmod +x "Blamyvog Demo"

Afterwards the game should work.
