i wanted to extract the game data to a folder i right clicked and dragged it but i couldnt find the extract button is there a trick or am i dumb?

It's a .rar file, you will need a special program to unzip it. 7zip is a free program you can find online that should work for you. Once installed, open it up and find the .rar file in your downloads, then click "extract" in the toolbar of 7zip. It's not as streamlined as just unzipping a folder, but hopefully you get through it smoothly!
