Been working on this course for a while and it's finished now so it's time for a sale. The course makes use of my Resource Gatherer RPG top down asset pack for demoing how to setup the code and game scenes in Godot 4.

Player controller, collision, and animation setup

Equipment switching hotbar to go between pickaxe, axe, and hammer tools

Equip items to the character as a seperate sprite slot. Animations can be reused for different sprite designs and possibly different tools by doing this.
