Subserial Network was first released a year ago, June 1st, 2018, as part of the Humble Monthly.
It focuses on an experimental narrative adventure proxying through your weak IPv4 address to the mesh network of the post-singularity: you, all as part of the human desire to play, are used to destroy the post-human, synthetic modification rebellion.
Its soundtrack — a solid half-hour of vaporwave / IDM inspired PC mystic masterpieces — and its look — a dense, pixelated, Laincore hardware aesthetic — help complete the picture.
A year later, I'm still deeply proud of it, and so, for June it's up for sale for half off. The full Aether gameography is also marked accordingly.
