Relax Exlax. It's a great game!! I doubt you can read anyway. 

The 4th bullet point  from the changelog says: Day will be rolled back to 17. You WILL NOT lose any progress.

I voted for the Coffee Shop idea. The father corrupting the family (Vacation and CCTV) sounds really good as well.

I really enjoy your games and I'm glad you are going to continue making them. I will wait for as long as it takes. No rush.
