Beautiful work. Thank you for making this.

Thank you for the kind words and review, I'm glad you liked the game! I am working on some longer projects so I hope you stay tuned for future releases.

Found this through your Bluesky post, reposted by Boxman. A great deal, and more importantly great tracks!

Thanks, I'm glad you liked it! (To any future readers, you can rebind your controls however you like from the options menu.)

You didn't miss anything - the 'intersex' label in the description is just indicating that there are characters that exhibit both male and female body features, without adding lore context. It's not completely accurate but I felt like that was the easiest way to sum things up without making people search terms.

Thank you for the detailed feedback! I'm sorry you didn't like the ending.

In the section where you play as Zephyr Lily's soul, the thoughts and images are memories from the lives of Yarrow and his lieutenants. As for the flash in Zephyr Lily's eye at the end: you'll have to speculate what it means for now, but if I get the chance to continue this story you'll certainly find out!

Found this through Vettrun's music. Great writing and atmosphere! Who did the character art?

I would recommend launching the game in compatibility mode, which may fix the issue. If that doesn't work, I'm afraid the problem is external to the game. Apologies for the late response, and enjoy!

Thanks for supporting! I don't take requests, but I am sometimes open for commissions. Apologies for the late response.

There are currently no plans for a Chinese translation of this game, but I will keep it in mind for my future projects.

Extremely creative take on the genre, great satire and art direction. Well done!

Thanks for asking. You can edit it and put it in a game as long as you credit me.

Thanks! Gameplay-wise, I recommend Dicey Dungeons and Die In The Dungeon, those are both similar addicting dice-roller strategy adventures that were inspiring to me.

I'm glad you enjoyed the game! That feedback is very useful and I hope you stick around for future projects that will hopefully be longer and more in-depth experiences.

Thanks for your feedback. I kept your points in mind while I was working on the recent update, so it should address concerns that you and others had about the game.

Thank you, I appreciate the feedback & I'm glad you enjoyed the game!

Thank you for the kind words!

Thank you for the kind words! I'm glad you enjoyed it and it makes my day to hear that!

This was a really exceptional experience. You did a great job with the writing and acting, and the manual touch to the timing of the vocal synths had a great effect. The intimacy and embodiment was really achieved here, and I think that categorizing it as an evolution of the play as an artform is a good way of conceptualizing it. I was engaged and interested throughout the whole experience and I'm glad you were able to share this.

This project is very fun! It ran well on my system, everything felt really nice to control and interact with, and it definitely captured the magic of Terraria / Starbound-like sandboxes when I discovered quirky things while exploring. Getting to the core of the world and playing around with the gravity was an especially neat moment. Good luck with it going forwards!

Thanks, I'm glad you liked the game! There is enough ammo to finish off Stonecrop in her arena, but I'll keep your feedback about the fight in mind going forwards.

You need to shoot the glowing weak points that appear at that stage.

Yeah, it's a bit tough as the final challenge of the game! Remember to make good use of your time slow to give yourself time to think.

Thanks for the feedback - I'll keep that in mind.

I appreciate the criticism, thanks for your feedback!

I assume you mean when she flinches after getting hit - it takes three hits to take her down.

That's right - it also does extra damage!

Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Thanks for letting me know about this!

Her cannonball bounces towards you once after it travels a certain distance - if you circle strafe around her you can avoid them without too much trouble, or you can take cover other places in the arena.

You have to lure her into getting hit by the other enemies' shots.

Thanks! That scene is a secret bonus that unlocks if you collect all the cigarillos.

Archiving one post: One user was getting a black screen on windows, but they were able to fix it by turning off antialiasing on nvidia (added the game to nvidia on manage 3d settings and turned off all the antialiasing).

Also: SPOILER WARNING for this thread! If you haven’t played Deathblossom yet, check it out first! It's free!

Thank you for posting how you fixed it - if anybody else has this issue, please let me know!

See my response to your other comment!

This is probably a compatibility problem with Godot - one of my testers had the same issue but it was fixed with a fresh OS install on a clean ssd. Sorry for the inconvenience!

Thanks for the feedback, I'm glad you enjoyed the game! The title is a play on "Alea iacta est," a Latin phrase meaning "the die is cast." I chose it because of its double meanings with the gameplay and the setting in Roman Egypt.
