I can see this asset pack working very nicely with several of the other Minifantasy asset packs. Specifically, the Undead Creatures, Space Derelict, Wildlife, and or Mounts packs, depending on what type of apocalypse your world experienced.
No worries! I got the trial version of Aseprite and was able to get myself up to speed to get the animations. And just to be clear to anyone reading my original comment, the animations are worth it.
This is great stuff. The less pixels used, the harder it is to make look good, but this pack pulls it off flawlessly. Unfortunately, unless it's user error on my part, the scientist (with the firearms) doesn't have all the .png files so you'll need to be an Aseprite user if you want all of the animations.
If there's a better animated 2D Horse pack, it's tucked away in the darkest of webs where I'm afraid to go. I just bought the Full Pack (buy the Full Pack; the quality is far beyond other 2D animated horse assets in other popular asset stores) and I'm excited to get back to my project since my own attempts did not turn out well. They're bad. I am thinking about uploading them to view just to point people to this asset.
