This game is so good! It's really simple but at the same time it's designed really well with the power-ups and enemies and secret coin locations. Really charming and fun to play and comes together really well thematically. I had to give up my soul :(

Thank you so much! We chose this style for ease of implementation.

There was a lot of back-end work that unfortunately didn't make it to the front-end of the game before the submission date.

Thank you! Our inspiration was Animal Crossing and its real time mechanics. Unfortunately, we didn't have enough time in the jam to fully realize the concept: we were hoping to be able to implement a system of purchasing and placing furniture along with other real time events like trash flowing in the river at certain times of day.

Thanks so much! We had a lot of fun creating the design for TrashBot. Unfortunately there wasn't enough time for us to fully implement purchasing and placing furniture. Hope you had a great jam too!

Thanks so much for playing at length! Yes, the final step was to implement placing furniture in the house, among other things. Wish I had more time: worked on it for almost the entire duration of the jam.

I'm sorry. I didn't mean to say that I was annoyed. I was not at all. I genuinely enjoyed the game and wanted to give feedback so that you can improve. My game is not in a finished state at all, so please do not misunderstand my attempt to give good, honest feedback.

I think I did rate? Unless it did not save. If it did not save I apologize. We all tried our best and all achieved great games.

This was really fun! I love the idea of discovering time, and it was really satisfying discovery things. One thing that would help is adding a global increment visual to the time bar and adding some more information about the hourglasses and other equipment. Nice work!

Love the music and artwork. The gameplay is very smooth too. I agree that I had some issues understanding how to play the game, but I am also only an English player. After a few levels I found the platforming, which was fun!

Great implementation of snake! Agree with other comments that it took me a while to understand input and controls. Tying snake to web3 and the process of minting is a really unique idea. Great job!

If there was a rating for atmosphere, I would give it a 10. I appreciated how you included the controls within the game, and I also wanted to note that it was really fun to play. I spent more time here on average than some of the other submissions because the gameplay loop is very addicting. One thing that wasn't immediately clear to me was that the bar on the right is for light and not distance to a location. I figured it out pretty quickly though.

I really, really enjoyed this game! Very unique concept that I could see expanding to all different characters with different theme songs. Music was great too!

EDIT: My first paragraph was attempting to give feedback. I apologize if it sounded like I was annoyed. I removed. TL;DR I had some issues understanding how to get started.

Fun game! I love the music. Reminded me of being in a Final Fantasy VIII dungeon. I was aiming for the ! at first (and for a while lol) but I don't think that's the biggest issue because you very quickly learn that it generates enemies and that the enemies deal damage.

EDIT: After looking at the other comments, I didn't realize there was more than avoiding and that I could shoot too. Agree that the particles and death animation are really well done!

Really unique concept and fits the theme perfectly! I love the easter egg of being able to match the people at the start menu too. I also love how you can match via faces or visuals. For accessibility, maybe you can let people use the numbers too via settings? Overall, awesome job! Agree the tutorial was very helpful.

Fun game! One thing I noted was that I kept not realizing that I was out of ammo. Maybe you can add a different audio clip or visual when you need to reload? Overall, nice work and great job! It's very fun to play.

First of all: the sunglasses were amazing, so thank you. Second: I thought you did a great job with the platforming, and the concept was really cool and unique. If the stages were longer, I would suggest a checkpoint, because I hate having to start all the way at the beginning each time. Nice work!

This is such a unique concept. And really well balanced too! Honestly, I loved everything about this game. My one note is that because I didn't read the instructions in the submission first, it took me a while to figure out how to grab and hold the keys.

This was really fun! Loved the music too. Agree that it would be helpful to explain the choices after each stage: I was choosing at random.

Unfortunately we didn't have time to add the mechanic for buying furniture, but you can collect trash for credits! We fetch the local day and time to generate more or less trash. We had big aspirations for placing robots in different states of the map according to the day and time, and other things, but oh well!

Thanks for reading!
