Really loved the splitting mechanic! The puzzles were challenging but felt fair. Great job!

Thank you so much for the kind words! It’s awesome that you also worked on a puzzle game along with an editor.

I checked out your game too, it's a real shame I missed the rating window, but you did an amazing job!

Thanks for playing! I am glad you enjoyed it!

I really liked the idea of the game and the level design. Even though I got stuck on level 12, that was a skill issue on my part, the game was really enjoyable. I did not find any bugs myself, great job!

Very simple, but fun idea. The bees are cute, and the game is a very solid prototype.
My only suggestion is that sound effects and some background music would add a lot. Great job!

Thank you so much for playing and for also taking the time to make your own level!
I gave it a try and it was actually really fun to play a level made by someone else!

Thank you for playing! Glad you enjoyed it!

Great game! It really reminded me of Zombie Tsunami, but with its own personality. My favorite thing was just getting a large swarm of wizards and SPAMMING all of the attacks to fill the screen with a lot of particles. Great job!

I am not gonna lie, I really enjoy those fake ads games. Building a massive horde feels satisfying, so I really enjoyed this little game. Great execution, especially for a first game. Good job!

I don't wanna talk about my final rank, because it was not the best :)). But I did manage to get a 95% on one poster, which was really nice.

I love the fact that the core idea is so simple, yet the game is very fun. It was a satisfying gameplay loop trying to get a better score each time. Great job!

Very good puzzle game and it feels really polished! Some levels are a little challenging, but very fun to solve. Great job!

Really glad you enjoyed it! Thank you for playing!

Thanks for playing! Glad you enjoyed it.

As for the cactus level, the level design maybe could've been a little better. The idea was to remember that the tutorial mentioned only needing half of the aliens to survive, so you would intentionally use 2 of them to dispose of 2 cactuses

Thank you for the kind words! Glad you liked it! Game jams are the best way to practice and learn game dev for me too. Good luck with your own game dev journey!

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it.

Fun simple game. Very easy to understand. I really loved the visuals and atmosphere of the game! I personally think it can be easily expanded into a proper indie game with some extra content additions. Great job!

Nice little game, I really liked the fact that it was 3D and it had nice visuals. It's a good job for the short time limit of the jam, my suggestions for future development would be some combat changes, so it is not purely just RNG, and of course some unlockable player upgrades (I am sure you guys probably already have some content expansions in mind already). Great job!

Thank you for playing and for the feedback, glad you enjoyed it! If I continue working on the project, I'll definitely add more QoL changes, like the dizzy meter above the player's head.

Thank you for playing and for the feedback! I'll definitely have to make some more balancing adjustments sometimes in the future.

(1 edit)

A fun little quick play. I really think the idea is fun, with some more juice and extra content, like a skill tree with upgrades maybe, this could grow into a nice indie game. Great job!

Fun, simple and easy to understand game. I don't know if Buckshot Roulette was an inspiration or not, but it reminded me of it and I really enjoyed both games. Great job!

Thanks for playing and for the feedback. I would guess the dwarf hero? :)

Thank you so much for playing and for the feedback.

I agree with the balancing being a little off, but I ran out of time and decided to leave it as it was. Also thank you for the feedback, your ideas for the dizzy effects are really good, and I will probably implement them if I continue working on the project after the jam.

Thanks for playing and for the feedback!

As a person who likes chess I found this concept really cool, with some more adjustments and polish, it would be a great standalone game. Great job!

This game was like a mini Clover Pit, a game that I really enjoyed, so I also had quite a fun time playing this game. The visual style was great in my opinion. More item variety would probably really benefit the game, but given the short time limit of the jam, I think this version is really nice. Great job!

Controlling the rocket took a little bit of time getting used to, but after that the game was really fun. Also cool concept, haven't played anything similar to it (at least yet). Great job!

Cool concept, the game was short and fun, I really enjoyed it. An actual leaderboard would be a great thing to add to the game. Great work!

As a fan of roguelikes, I found the game really enjoyable (also who doesn't like a little bit of a roulette game). Simple idea, the core loop of the game is easy to pick up, but it is really fun. Great job!

Really good and fun game!

I liked how the upgrades felt really rewarding. My suggestion is that the game would really benefit from some more juice, like some particle bursts and some screen shake. Other than that, really solid game, great job!

I really enjoyed the idea of the game and the visual art style.

My two suggestions would be to make the screen spinning faster, and to polish out the movement some more (but given the short time limit, it is good enough).

Really well done for a first game!

Really nice game. It was a little bit difficult for me, but I don't really play these type of games in my free time so that could be why.

The game loop felt really fun and the visual art style was really nice. Great job!

Thank you very much for playing and for the feedback!

Wow, great job on the game!

This is not something I would usually play in my free time, but it was really well done, really relaxing, and the visuals were super nice, ended up spending a little bit of time on the game. Amazing work!

Simple and fun idea. I really, really liked the amount of juice, and polish the game had. Especially the juice made it very satisfying and addicitve to play. Great job!

Very nice idea! The ads part was really funny. Great job!

This is incredibly nice of you, thanks for doing this!

Here is my game: https://itch.io/jam/theveryseriousjuniperdevgamejam/rate/4709818

A simple rating is more than enough for me, if you wanna leave some feedback I'd be grateful, but it is not needed.

I saw you said you didn't need ratings, but I'm definitely going to play and rate yours anyway, a little bit later.

Super fun to play. It felt very satisfying to use special attacks on big swarms of enemies. Also, the sound effects were fantastic. Good job!
