Thank you for the kind words! Glad you liked it! Game jams are the best way to practice and learn game dev for me too. Good luck with your own game dev journey!

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it.

Fun simple game. Very easy to understand. I really loved the visuals and atmosphere of the game! I personally think it can be easily expanded into a proper indie game with some extra content additions. Great job!

Nice little game, I really liked the fact that it was 3D and it had nice visuals. It's a good job for the short time limit of the jam, my suggestions for future development would be some combat changes, so it is not purely just RNG, and of course some unlockable player upgrades (I am sure you guys probably already have some content expansions in mind already). Great job!

Thank you for playing and for the feedback, glad you enjoyed it! If I continue working on the project, I'll definitely add more QoL changes, like the dizzy meter above the player's head.

Thank you for playing and for the feedback! I'll definitely have to make some more balancing adjustments sometimes in the future.

A fun little quick play. I really think the idea is fun, with some more juice and extra content, like a skill tree with upgrades maybe, this could grow into a nice indie game. Great job!

Fun, simple and easy to understand game. I don't know if Buckshot Roulette was an inspiration or not, but it reminded me of it and I really enjoyed both games. Great job!

Thanks for playing and for the feedback. I would guess the dwarf hero? :)

Thank you so much for playing and for the feedback.

I agree with the balancing being a little off, but I ran out of time and decided to leave it as it was. Also thank you for the feedback, your ideas for the dizzy effects are really good, and I will probably implement them if I continue working on the project after the jam.

Thanks for playing and for the feedback!

As a person who likes chess I found this concept really cool, with some more adjustments and polish, it would be a great standalone game. Great job!

This game was like a mini Clover Pit, a game that I really enjoyed, so I also had quite a fun time playing this game. The visual style was great in my opinion. More item variety would probably really benefit the game, but given the short time limit of the jam, I think this version is really nice. Great job!

Controlling the rocket took a little bit of time getting used to, but after that the game was really fun. Also cool concept, haven't played anything similar to it (at least yet). Great job!

Cool concept, the game was short and fun, I really enjoyed it. An actual leaderboard would be a great thing to add to the game. Great work!

As a fan of roguelikes, I found the game really enjoyable (also who doesn't like a little bit of a roulette game). Simple idea, the core loop of the game is easy to pick up, but it is really fun. Great job!

Really good and fun game!

I liked how the upgrades felt really rewarding. My suggestion is that the game would really benefit from some more juice, like some particle bursts and some screen shake. Other than that, really solid game, great job!

I really enjoyed the idea of the game and the visual art style.

My two suggestions would be to make the screen spinning faster, and to polish out the movement some more (but given the short time limit, it is good enough).

Really well done for a first game!

Really nice game. It was a little bit difficult for me, but I don't really play these type of games in my free time so that could be why.

The game loop felt really fun and the visual art style was really nice. Great job!

Thank you very much for playing and for the feedback!

Wow, great job on the game!

This is not something I would usually play in my free time, but it was really well done, really relaxing, and the visuals were super nice, ended up spending a little bit of time on the game. Amazing work!

Simple and fun idea. I really, really liked the amount of juice, and polish the game had. Especially the juice made it very satisfying and addicitve to play. Great job!

Very nice idea! The ads part was really funny. Great job!

This is incredibly nice of you, thanks for doing this!

Here is my game: https://itch.io/jam/theveryseriousjuniperdevgamejam/rate/4709818

A simple rating is more than enough for me, if you wanna leave some feedback I'd be grateful, but it is not needed.

I saw you said you didn't need ratings, but I'm definitely going to play and rate yours anyway, a little bit later.

Super fun to play. It felt very satisfying to use special attacks on big swarms of enemies. Also, the sound effects were fantastic. Good job!

Very cool game!

I liked the idea and the absolutely adorable Bob. The minigames and the boss fight felt really nice to play. I especially liked the part of the boss fight when the screen started spinning, because it made flawlessly dodging everything feel really satisfying.

Great job!

Fun game, with a good story. Really loved the minigames and the art style of the game. Great job!

Really fun and simple game. The only thing I would add is a bit of juice for the gameplay to be a little more satisfying, other than that, great job!

Very creative and fun idea! It has very much potential with a few adjustments, especially, like others also pointed out, the difficulty of the game. Personally I really liked the art style. Great job!

Very cool game! A simple, fun and addicting idea. The gameplay felt rewarding, and I really liked the tech upgrades and the spinning mechanic. Great job!

Thanks for playing and for the feedback!

I really enjoyed the game. The reload system with buffs and debuffs felt quite addicting and was a nice interpretation of the theme. I also liked the humour of the game.

On floor 2, though, I learned that I could just dodge everyone's bullets and run straight to the next floor, so I might have skipped a few levels after learning that. Overall, a really fun little game. Good job!

I love a good dungeon crawler, and this looks and feels great! It's really nice, especially considering the short time limit and the fact that it's just a development preview. Great job!

The penguins are adorable and the game is really fun. Also, good job for adding a leaderboard, at least for me, the leaderboard made me play the game for longer, because I did not wanna quit before top 10. Managed to get rank 9 (at the time of leaving this comment). Great little game! :D

Even though the game is less of a game and more of an experience with a strong message, it's short and definitely worth trying. Good job!

Thanks for playing! You're 100% right about the JUICE. The time limit caught up with me, but more juice is something that I want to add next time I get to work on the project. Really appreciate the feedback!

Thank you for playing! Yes, I realized a bit too late that there’s no real incentive to grab the coins mid-game, so I left it as is for the jam.

Thanks so much for playing! I really like the suggestions and will probably end up adding them the next time I work on this project.

Thank you so much! I also played your game and quite enjoyed it. I don't know if I missed something or you don't get there in the demo, but I was expecting to get to the big island at some point.

Thank you!
