100% this! I really wish game companies would learn this instead of defaulting to legal action when it comes to fan games! Hell, as we've seen with Palworld, even being legally distinct doesn't seem to save you from the dreaded Nintendo law ninjas...the world really needs new copyright laws because the ones that exist now are so woefully obsolete.

Hi there! I'm currently working on a full conversion of Heroes of Cerulea into a Castlevania inspired system, thanks in no small part to Heroes of Ceruvania. I was wondering if--with proper attribution to you of course--I could use these hero archetypes in my rule book. I only plan on using the text and mechanics, not the art.

This is something I plan to distribute commercially, so I wanted to ask if you were okay with it. Otherwise, I'll find a way to make similar archetypes but not exactly the same. =)

I'm eyeing this plugin for a potential project, but I want to know if it can be used to make a CRPG-like game in the same vein as Baldur's Gate 3 or of similar ilk. =)
