oh okay, I see, thank you for the clarification on that, I'll update my rating, very clever :)

I like the game over all, really simple and really satisfying, its very addictive and had me playing for awhile.. but I don't see how it ties into the theme, at least on the game-play end.

Yeah the Zelda inspiration is on the nose, but It kinda seems to be a theme of mine, being my 2nd *working* game submitted to a game jam X3

I might be a bit biased about tower defense games as I really love them but this one was really good, and was a great usage of the theme, its fun to find combinations of materials that make different weapons. and the sam boss is cheeky but not out of place so you get a point for that

Pretty good, interesting narrative and amazing art, first visual novel I was able to somewhat enjoy (not usually a fan of them myself)

here you go my guy/gal, have fun, let me go check yours out now

This is honestly peak, when I joined this jam I wasn't expecting to see a god damn metroidvania with amazing visuals like this, good job my guy/gal!

Our game was so fun to make, it was our first time both working with someone else on a game and made it so much fun

I'm glad to see you didn't take it to heart, its good to see people making games, I hope you continue to do well working on this or even making more games in the future ^u^

Thank you :) we really enjoyed working on this game, I really wanted to make sure no one got soft locked but also wanted to make the puzzles at least some what difficult. (also fun to see we came up with the same Idea XD)

Love the concept and is really fun, although the combat is a little Janky, sometimes it feel like you can stunlock enemies until they are dead and other times it feels like your health bar drains really fast.

Although the fun I get from this game is speed running it, you can make some crazy sword throw line ups for an enemy to catch it off screen and feels really fun to do. Idk if its intended or not but I found that really enjoyable

I did, loved it, was one of those "wait can I? nooo... omg I can" moments XD but yeah, wish it was longer but thats not your fault, you were given a short development time

I like the idea but it defiantly needed more time for refinement. As someone else said, something as little as text saying how to interact would help. Also just a personal thing but I feel like the default mouse sensitivity is too low, a mouse sens setting would've helped but its more a personal thing.

Really cool game, the idea is so creative and is executed really well, part of me wishes it wasn't so short because I wonder how far the concept could go puzzle wise. Overall an awsome game!

Really love how creative the this game is, looks nice too and nicely paced, amazing job!

I think this is a really cool game with a really good execution but sadly there are 3 bugs that keep me for getting past the 5th level, one is that if you solidify even for a second on the respawn platform, if you respawn there it'll just push you below the platform and get you killed by the lava, two is that for some reason on your first life hitting solidify doesn't work sometimes, and three is that the power up doesn't respawn if you exit to main menu and retry, rather it gets taken away from you if you do have it. but over all the game seems really fun and neat, it's just those 3 bugs holding it back a little

It's okay, I see the Idea you were going for but my only gripe is that its really hard to control, especially in the air. Overall I'd say its a cool idea with an okay execution (sorry if it sounds heavy handed, just my honest opinion)

peak horror

look at the room and think what would be ordinary for a game like "The legend of Zelda". Hint, you can push certain blocks.
