Aye this was such a fun little game, some games I have seen in this jam are great for a one time play but this is amongst those which has potential to be something much bigger. I really enjoyed it and loved how it was pretty chill. The graphics were pretty great and I adore a good lighthouse aesthetic. Only feedback I can offer is that personally I thought that letting the ships sink ( or begin to sink ) had little to no consequences since the time to rescue them was quite enough and your little ship could save them quickly. However it was a really fun game! I look forward to seeing you work on it if you ever will

Honestly a good game, the slot machines are nicely made though the shop menu could use some work. It reminds me of Cloverpit ( compliment btw ) and honestly it was so much addicting, I loved the double or nothing part and really it made me feel like true gambling without burning a hole in my pockets!
Holy moly this game jam is making me realise just how trash I am at games, but jokes aside this was a such a fun game and reminds me that well even a simple idea can be super awesome if it is executed right. The second was hell tho those red ones are much more faster but I love the concept and was surprisingly addicting and I love how the asteroids destroy each other too so you can perform some cool deflects. I think this has potential to be a great cozy little game, maybe with more features you could release it on mobile! ( and also update it here since I would love to play it again )
Hey thanks for your feedback and thats what I initially wanted, although a bit different, my plan was to add randomizers for abilties ( like dashes, blocks, parries etc ) and another for buffs but honestly, the characters are pretty basic as of now since they are nothing more than visual changes and basic stat differences so I would love to incorporate the class system into the game!
Honestly a great game, absolutely adore the artstyle and the gamplay is SOOPER unique however with my aim being trash, it was pretty difficult for me. Some suggestions would be to improve the shop ui, make the throw bullet thingy to be easier to shoot, and just have some feedback when landing a hit and a getting hit. However building this is 7 days is incredible dude!
Hey! I decided to try out some unique games made in this jam that people haven't played yet, and so I stumbled upon yours. I think you did want to upload the game as a web build but forgot to turn on run on browser on itch. Regardless the game had many bugs still ( the hitboxes were kinda messed up, you couldnt enter doors from any side except one and the game froze if you used other sides ) In the 2nd or 3rd level you cannot even go further because the door is bugged. I think if this is your first game then this is a great try! actually getting a game out in time for a jam requires lots of work and if you made this game in a custom made engine then hats off to you cause I have no idea how do you even make a game engine. Hopefully your next game is something actually beatable
EDIT:
Well I just read the games page and honestly this is pretty peak for a first time game made with 0 experience, for me I havent even finished my "first" game and for the last 2 years couldnt go any further in a jam then creating an empty project so actually congrats on building and shipping something!
You wouldnt believe me but the idea was very much inspired from boss and item randomizer mods for souls-like games! I wanted to make a boss inspired by Dark Souls III but time was really short so bullet hell bos was what I landed on. Thanks for playing the game! if i see support for this prototype I might just completely overhaul the game! ( and also add that souls-like boss ;) )
M E O W. Such a fun and cosy game, played this while drinking some tea and it was so fun. The small comic in the start was so cute and the cats are so wonderful. I absolutely adore the main cat's little hands that are seen when spinning the yarn and the scared face of the other cats before getting crushed it is so funny. Such a lovely game!
Thank you so much! I love to get tips from devs with more experience. The art was something i struggled with allot, I just had no idea how to make the stones less detailed whilst making them still look like stones. About the linework, I wanted the boss to give it but yet again I just didnt have time. Your game's artwork was beautiful so maybe if I can reach you out somehow, you can teach me your ways!
Heyyy this is such a great game! The movement is so fun and honestly at first I was confused why my damage was so low, but then i figured out how to stagger and oh boy the game was so fun then! Flying and staggering enemies and one shotting them is so so so cool. If you ever continue working on this, i'll 100% play it, one of the most interesting games I have played in this jam. Side note, in the controls you wrote use A and W to move, I think you wanted to right A and D to move. Regardless a fun experience!
HOLY MOLY, this is so great I can not fathom how this was made in just 7 days. The controls are simple but the beyblades is surprisingly so good ( those goddamn red ones baited me off the map 3 times ) the game is pretty difficult too though. The best thing I hav seen in this jam is such interesting art styles and unique menus! ( yours included ). Side note, the 50% chance revival system is so great, reminds me allot of sekiro ( my favourite game ever ). This is easily the best game ive tried in this Jam till now!
FISHY GO SPIN! The game is so creative and I love how the colour changes when you dash. The game was really difficult tho ( I could NOT beat it 😭) but my biggest gripe is the game being only controllable with arrow keys as my keyboard doesnt have them so I had to keep pressing FN to use other keys as them and perhaps if there was WASD support I couldve beaten it. Regardless, the game has such an interesting charm I LOVE IT and the artstyle matches so well for the game!
WHAT A SERIOUS GAME! The game was good but I thought that the UI was very confusing ( Although I have to say the main menu was SUPER creative ) I was confused and still am about how the upgrades were affecting gamplay ( except the ferris wheel upgrades ) Regardless, a very cool game indeed! The best part was the ferris wheel throwing everyone away, scared me the first time!
THIS IS SO FUN!!!! I loved it, the art style is so pretty and the gamplay is fun too. The music and sound design was phenomenal. I am still new to game making so I can't really give constructive criticism BUT as others said you should add balancing and personally if you ever expand the game and make it longer, adding a little minigame like in dead by daylight in which while mining, you have to click something and if done right you do double or extra damage or something. But again I havent played many incremental games so this is PEAK
Hey, first of all thanks for playing the game! To your questions, I had planned to make 2 bosses, 1 that ran away from the player and shot them ( which ended up being The Goblin King ) and another, a knight, which would dash to the players position and slash them, however, I couldn't even complete the ai of the first one, regardless, the only difference the characters have is hp and speed, the knight dies in 4 hits but is slower whereas the wizard is faster but dies in 3 hits. As for the weapons, the only difference is their projectile's speed and their cooldowns. Thanks again for playing the game
Hey, anybody who ends up playing this, just know that I couldnt complete it in time, I had boxes for menus and much more ready at my disposal but due to the limit of time, I was unable to complete it, and I know the game runs in slow motion right now so I will try my best to fix it as soon as possible!
