I don't disagree but I simply didn't have the time left to add more advanced mechanics XD

Click on the sign next to the gate

super fun to play

Thanks very much but to be clear it's the 6x6 pixel font by frostyfreeze! I wanted to add more mechanics (like vampires refusing to live near proles) and of course more pretty objects but I'm glad it's still fun and cute 😆 it's always a matter of prioritizing with game jams

(1 edit)

maybe try playing in fullscreen? I often have issues with the links on the right that itch.io adds

Thanks!

At first I wanted to make an octopus balancing on a ball in perspective but it was way above my pay grade and tile limits. So I settled on a more 2d design. My takeaway: art is hard but pixel art is harder. And pixel art for game boys is the hardest. 😆

I like octopuses

it's my first jam as well, I just upscaled it to 576x640 so it fills out the space on the right but also stays crisp

I really like the game and the concept but it's a bit hard and random at the start :D

Doesn't work on my screen resolution, I can only see half of the screen in full screen

Very beautiful artwork and music but a bit annoying to play

Unfortunately doesn't load for me, unity loader is stuck at 90% (MacOS for reference)

There is no animation for the player getting damaged and I wish there was diagonal movement because going all the way back to the secret room was a bit frustrating. A very cute and detailed game though :D.

Sorry, I don't have a game pad :(
