PEAK, I love the concept, and the fish got hella cool shoes at the end! The overall gameplay, art style, concept and mechanic was all incredibly polished and endearing, and I would say this is my favourite take on the theme so far! The arrows were super helpful in guiding me to where I needed to go, and the feeling of being able to reach new areas once abilities were unlocked was very satisfying! And the dialogue was great hahaha. My only slight problem was I feel like some of the swinging mechanics could have more momentum, as I felt that instead of swinging around I was mostly trying to swing high and then float to where I needed to be (maybe that was the intention haha)
Very cute! It took me a while to chase down flobs after they started running away from me, and I normally couldn't catch them unless they were stuck on the corner of the lake - so maybe implementing some sort of speed boost or dash when stabbing might help make that easier? And I also felt like I couldnt see anything once the side parts got darker, which made me struggle a bit to play. I think my run may also have been bugged because I was sacrificing the correct colour but it wasnt being accepted. But overall, a super interesting and fun concept with really good detail in how the atmosphere changes once you have to start killing other flobs! My favourite part was the dialogue, it was so well written and in character haha!
The sprites and art style was super cute! I loved hoppin around to different PCs to get rid of the malware, and some of the interactions and jokes were really cute and well thought of! I think i would have liked the PCs on the left and right side to be closer together so I didnt have to run around as much, and I wasnt sure if the ghosts turning to demons was because I was doing it wrong, but thats just some optimisation fixes hehe. Overall it was really cute and endearing and I loved the concept you guys went with!
This was really fun! I think I tried my best but I dont have enough braincells to figure out what I am supposed to do for the 8th ending LOL. It was overall very cohesive and I really liked the flavour text of it all, I can't believe you had so many variations within a short game jam! And the sprites were so cute as well! I think it could be improved by maybe having a hint pop up at the end screen for what could be tried in the next run since I was never sure the impact my actions had on the ending until I ended the shift and had to restart. I think also some of the interactions didnt trigger unless I stood in a specific place, even when I was next to the object, but that might be an alignment issue on my end haha.
Very solid game! A good amount of challenging and rewarding, with good passives and a fun gameplay loop. Loved it a lot, I think some of the parries could be a bit more forgiving in terms of timing, but the passive that negates that damage basically fixed that hurdle for me haha. Very enjoyable, would definitely love to see more of this kind of game that mixes rhythms, timing, and music!
Just played your game! It was fantastic, really fit the theme of needing to die at least once to gather the passives to return stronger! Music and fight patterns were also very fitting, and I overall really enjoyed the experience! Thank you for letting me play your game on stream, left a rating and a review!
The real horror is having to work fast food (JK) the environment and atmosphere for this game was so good, I loved the watercolour-y effects for the dog and the humans that made everything shadowy and the small sound effects and lighting changes as the mood adjusted to become darker, overall very solid!
Good game for running around and shooting! Not much introduction or explanation needed which I like. I think having some sort of balance to the skills that can be rolled might help with enjoyability as I found that sometimes when I rolled awful stats I would rather just die and roll again. I liked the DOOM-like red setting and atmosphere a lot!
Loved the visuals and atmosphere for this, plus the dolls were super cute! I think i encountered the bug at night though so I couldn't progress, but it's a great take on the theme and I loved the presentation of everything. I think the motion blur made me a bit dizzy and I got a bit lost sometimes so a tutorial of some kind to show me what I should be looking to interact with would be good! Or maybe a hint system!
Played your game! Loved the atmosphere and the cute lil dolls and the fun text of how they died haha! A shame I think I ran into the bug, but you did get a scream out of me when I got a random flash out of nowhere in the night LOL. Thank you for letting me play your game, left a rating and a review!
Beautiful game with really nice visuals and small details such as the character's hair animating while they were walking! Loved the music pieces, and loved that it was a tribute of sorts - my only feedback was that I think the rhythm game parts could have more polished syncing or offsetting if that is something you guys would want to work on!
Wow, this game was so peak. I love the concept, the gameplay, the weird humour of it all, it's beautiful. A super fun and entertaining game, my only feedback was that sometimes because you can only pin one part of the body down, it is hard to align everything especially the hands and feet. But this is definitely a recommend and could be a whole game released on Steam honestly.
Beautiful game with super dynamic puzzles and a bopping soundtrack! My favourite is patting the cat on the home screen, what a beautiful addition. Sometimes the timing was difficult and the ghosts were hard to jump on, but other than that it was quite polished and I would love to play a fully released version! Everything about the game is super charming and I definitely recommend!
