Great game! Delightful art style. The music was incredible!
I love games where your choices matter.

Beautifully tragic.
Thank you for this.

First time seeing a Pico-8 game. I'm really impressed!

Cute!

THIS is how you do interactive fiction! Wonderful, descriptive writing and an immersive world!
Thank you!!

This is one of those concepts that you wouldn't think would translate to a game - but it works wonderfully! I can't wait to see the finished product!

This was fantastic for a short game jam! Great art, great, voice acting, great story.
Would def love to see more!

I really wanted to like this, especially considering what it had to say regarding trans people.

But the writing came off as a little juvenille for me. The demon's characterization feels...off. Too childish and too quick to change their temperment.

Maybe more time with the demon would have led to a more believable turn in their motives. As it is, it happened to fast to be believable.

Wow. I'm floored after that ending. I really wanted to more about Avery what made him tick etc.

Beautiful art. Chilling vibes. And the game actually ran fine for me in my browser.

Surprisingly addictive!

I think I played this before a long time ago. It was fun to revisit it. Short, sweet, and spooky. Like a little ghost story turned into a video game.

I would have liked a little more choices in the dialogue, but it was so short that I didn't mind so much. The pixel art was great and made for a good atmosphere.

Thank you for the spooky game!

I love folk horror like this and I hadn't heard of this one before. Very well done. I did have a little trouble getting it to start, but whitelisting it worked for me.

Someone alteady said it, but the beginning is a little slow.

Yes! Exactly!

Amazing game!
The pixel art is beautiful, though some of the people designs are a little unsettling. The gameloop is satisfying - like a more relaxed version of Papers, Please. The music is wonderful and helps you decompress while sorting packages.

I'm not really into rhythm games (but I do like cat games), so I gave this a chance. It was fun and the graphics were beautiful!
I would say that I read fast and not being able to advance the dialogue in the intro was excruciating. And while I read quickly, I couldn't enjoy the lyrics and do the inputs at the same time. It's unfortunate.

Love it! Mina is sooo cute.
It very chill and I would love to see more of Chef's Mina's misadventures.

Dull and trite. It reads like a 13 year old girl's livejournal from 2005 (I went through a similar phase in secondary school). Complete with the "christ god bad and japan is magical" angst. The art is poor: mspaint for the cat and goddess and vacation photos with a photoshop filter for the background. The "ye olde english" is exhausting to read and it isn't even consistent.

There are no choices or interactivity. Just mashing the space bar. It really does seem like an old short story fed into renpy. I did not enjoy it. I only finished it to give it a fair review.

I wasn't sold on the art style at first...but the rat man won me over hard.

I just got into this!! Great writing, beautiful artwork.
I don't know how y'all waited so long in between chapters. I NEED to see what happens next!

Cute and cozy, but like others have said...there needs to be a tutorial in the beginning. A lot of trial and error before getting into a groove.

Reminds me of dreading logging onto AIM for fear of being pestered by guys from school.

Love the vibes. Dark, brooding. The internet hit different in the early 2000s.

I can fix him. jk

Nice use of colors in the hospital room.
I'm looking forward to seeing where this is going.

Fun, but a little glitchy. There should be an instant fail if you type "expresso" instead of "espresso".
