I don't think that a thunderclap and rolling thunder are distinct phenomena. A thunderclap at Wintercote would sound like rolling thunder at Granger House, since those locations are quite far apart. (I'm not a meteorologist, but preliminary research seems to confirm my intuition: rolling thunder is essentially just the result of a thunderclap reverberating, and the rolling sound travels farther than the clap). However, I agree that the only clue that tells you who died is the phone call. The rolling thunder by itself doesn't tell you anything, but once you realize there was thunder at Wintercote, then the rolling thunder pins down the time.

Very fun! The final mystery was pretty tough but it was enjoyable throughout.

Ohhhhh my god, this game is so good. I got it a while ago, never actually started until like three days ago, and finally finished just now. I forgot this game was free until reading some of the comments here. How was this free?? It had so much content and it was all amazing. I love all the characters so much (especially Mary, of course) and all the endings were all very exciting!

Since I'm not capable of talking about things like characters and story as eloquently as the others in this comment section, I'll mention something that probably no one else called out. I'm a sucker for dumb puns, so I liked the Cold Point store and stuff like that. But I mainly wanted to point out that Twyla leads the Parliament... because a group of owls is called a parliament!!!! That's intentional right?? When I realized that I was like 🤯🤯🤯

Anyways, thanks so much for this banger of a visual novel!

Not what I was referring to. By "last level" I meant "last real challenge of the game".

That was extremely fun. It took me a while, but I managed to convince myself the last level was impossible. (Then I solved it.)

Very fun! Section H was a blast and Section I was brutal.
