I absolutely love the drawings of the rat haha. They remind me a bit of a particular cartoonist, but I can't quite remember exactly who. Someone Quentin Blake-adjacent maybe?
Yeah we tried a couple positions so the player didn't have to switch their eyes back and forth so much but we didn't want to obscure the map. Attaching the cues to the cursor is a great idea, we definitely should have done something like that in retrospect
I had a great time playing this! The Windows98 aesthetic is always good fun. There were enough interconnected mechanics to always give me something to do, which is important for this type of game. Though I wish I could have moved the windows around so I could see multiple at once.
Cool game! You did a good job with the setting and the theming. Would be nice to see the radius around you that would be freezed and maybe jump with W as well.
Love the hand-drawn style, the penguins are very cute! The typing mechanic is fun, reminds me of some typing mini-games I used to play.
One thing is that if the whistle goes off and I get the bar down to blue while the penguins are running over, they still die :(. Also would have been nice to have some of the UI elements in the same style, but I understand its a very short window to draw everything.
Really like the pixel art and 8-bit music you've made! I wish I could direct where the shot fires somehow (like up or diagonally), but maybe that's part of the challenge.
That intro is incredible! Love the story it tells and the questions it leaves open to the player. The cat-and-mouse gameplay of following the enemies trail of blood is awesome. You've done a great job with this!
Great stealth game! It's a very interesting movement system speeding up and slowing down and you slide around on the ice.
You can really feel the tension when your ice-cream is melting, the guard is coming and you slide away just too far from the keypad to type in the code...
What a beautiful and creative game! I'm so impressed by the animations you've made, the cat one looks super fluid and dynamic. I love the colour scheme and the sound effects. The aesthetic reminds me a bit of INSIDE and LIMBO.
Great puzzle game, was a good challenge to have to juggle the movement of several eggs at the same time. Was a little hard to see the direction of the tracks while frozen, but the new design you posted looks way clearer now.
Would love to play some more levels if you make any more after the jam!
A surprisingly relaxing game for one about dodging icicles and saving friends from hypothermia. Reminds me a bit of Gridiron Gauntlet from Super Mario Party.

You've done a great job, this is a fun puzzle game! The turn-based system lets you plan out your moves ahead of time and try to be smart about solving the level. On top of the freeze wave, time is also frozen between turns, so you've done more than you said for the theme.
I found the controls a little bit difficult to use. Sometimes I would click on along a diagonal and the path-finding would take me through the robot and immediately lose the level. I think I would have found tapping WASD to move one square at a time a bit easier, but that might just be me.
