We thought about that but we decided not to do it simply because it seemed harder to do it and we are not that experienced in game development :D. Thx for the suggestion though.

Absolutely. We couldn't work much on the last day of the jam with remaining work to do other than polishing in our designated polishing day, so not much play testing and balancing was done ://. We couldn't even finish the shop, upgrades, endless mode, character attack and running animations and overall visual upgrades XD. Well there is always next year to cook a masterpiece of a game right >:).
You are absolutely correct about the mashing but the game is designed to have upgrades bought from the shop that empowers you in different ways for you to deal with the enemies easier but in exchange there would be punishment for mashing every button and killing everything on sight :D but we had to scratch the upgrade part since we kinda underestimated the work we needed to do and we couldn't work much on the last day of the jam. So only 0.25 second cooldown was implemented to stop mashing at least a little bit. THX for playing and giving feedback :DD.
Thanks for playing!! We knew there were some problems with readability and some hitboxes but we thought that those will be easier fixes and will be dealt with in the last day of the jam, unfortunately we were only able to work on the game last 1 hour on the last day. So there is near 0 polishing done :DD. Who thought underestimating what work you got left will result in failure of producing the version the game that was in our mind :ppp. Thx for the feedback !!!
