the whole rating period passed without me even seeing this absolute gem. not even glaze, this is the only game in the jam out of 50+ i played that i spent over 10 minutes on and had to play to the end. you're a wizard man i love this game

I watched my friend play it after me and he figured it out pretty easily so its definitely a skill issue on my part lol so I take back what I said

interesting idea for sure, looks pretty great but you cant really know when there's gonna be an enemy, you just have to hope you don't die instantly

i really like this game, the art is amazing and it was a nice challenge while still not feeling unfair

it was pretty fun, despite being a bit annoying at times, i played to the end. great job

the battery is a bit punishing, i played like 6 or 7 times and couldnt find a single battery charge, your flash light just runs out and you die. the visuals are solid

idk if its just my computer but it kept freezing and almost crashing my browser. visuals are nice though

tung tung tung sahur

also nice game but i dont like how shooting reflects your direction, i found it a bit difficult to control reliably

nice game, cool mechanic, would be nice if there was more pressure, there's nothing really encouraging the player to engage with the mechanic since you can just dodge all the colors infinitely

try your best to have a consistent pixel resolution throughout the game. it would be nice if there were more customers at the same time to create that hectic vibe, as well as different outfits for them and different types of food (just a palette swap would suffice). great start for your first jam

nice game! pretty visually cohesive despite the simplistic style. the vfx are nice and the flinging thing is a bit difficult to grasp at first but it ended up being pretty cool

walk right and read some text is hardly a game, don't you think? could be really good if expanded upon, like an it takes two thing where you're platforming together with your partner and then plot twist she was dead the whole time

nice game

i like parrying as a core mechanic but needs to be expanded on to be called a "game". that said though i did play it for a while so good job

looks neat, tic tac toe is a classic, i grew gray hairs waiting for them transitions though

really neat project. could do with a much better explanation of the mechanics. i couldnt even figure out what to do at first until i read the long ahh description. though its to be expected of a jam game. great job!

really nice graphics and solid ideas here. i found it a bit confusing and couldn't tell where i was, where the goal is, or if i was making progress. i would say it needs a longer interactive tutorial but obviously its fine since its a jam game. great work, one of the best games for sure

dude this game is so sick dude!!! i was failing university level calculus and linear algebra but after playing this game i was suddenly passing with flying colors. absolute cinema 10/10 would play again.  make it a roguelike like nubby's number factory with some insane items and synergies and you've got a million dollar project on your hands

thanks a lot! I wanted to make it longer but having 4 different time periods worked out for the best. I guess I could make multiple levels for each time period but I wanted to keep it short, but ig that backfired lol.

oof lol, telling it like it is i guess. Fwiw, having only 4 levels was intentional, its not cuz I didnt know how to make more. If the levels themselves are bad then I guess fair but I didnt make more levels cuz the game was supposed to be small plus other factors that made it not really work design-wise

thanks, and yeah I lowkey agree I had lots of time but keep in mind I had to make 4 different versions of every asset (most of which the player barely sees or pays attention to) which took most of my time. Plus the idea of the mini-jam is to keep it short and sweet, right? I also dont plan on updating the game after this, it was just a small one-off project

I agree with you haha, I noticed while play testing as well but I didnt really know how to fix it so it was low on my priority of stuff to do. Will definitely keep it in mind, thanks for playing!

Yup i made all the art myself! Thanks for playing my game :)

let it be known that i played the entire game while putting on a wild west accent to voice all the lines. 10/10. my only gripe is that the barrels are so similar colors (black, brown, and dark brown) that its so hard to tell

TS PEAK TS FIREEEEE TS MY CHILDHOOD

i really like the checkpoints, and the character controller mechanic is unique i guess? but it feels really bad to play lol, maybe cuz i'm a filthy new-gen but even something as simple as coyote time would go a long way

interesting concept, and having to move the tiles in real time is a unique twist but might not really land well with a lot of players. personally i thought it was gonna be a strategic puzzle and was disapointed when it was fast-paced. of course, make the game you want to make though, im just one person on the internet lol

the dragging thing is interesting but slightly annoying since stuff gets stuck so easily. the idea is very novel and fun though

really cool idea, definitely different lol you don't really see many matching games these days. i couldnt really figure out how to play properly but thats just my skill issue lol. also for the first like 3min of gameplay i didnt even realize there were enemies(?) at the top at first. would help to communicate the goal of the game a bit better

i couldnt really figure out the dash but definitely reminded me of old games on coolmathgames lol

this game is really awesome, simple art style but very cohesive. and addicting gameplay i couldnt stop playing until i got brainless

this was such a coolio and super experience :) i had many funs but my little pea brain was too smooth to figure out the puzzle with 3 trapdoors

pretty cool game! the crt is blinding, it would be great to have a toggle option. looks great otherwise and is fun, great job!

this game is really good. the gameplay is fun and it's nicely polished. connection to the theme is solid. the art is good but the different resolutions/pixel sizes is throwing me off. really nicely done

really good potential, looks awesome but as others have mentioned the game breaks when you die. still really awesome

pretty nice game, looks really good and lots of polish, good job! the movement speed is really really slow at the start and it takes a pretty long while to ramp up in difficulty which can lead people to click off before it gets good

pretty nice game, very simplistic and you can just corner them and spam kicks lol but still really fun

lol

I was curious too. Also why join a 7 day jam if you're gonna submit in 1 day?

Thanks for having me! Thanks to you guys my first jam was a success, looking  forward to what lies ahead :3
