Hey I really like the game so far, but I’m struggling to get the hang of the melee/physical combat.
Some of the grievances I feel are that sometimes my attacks don’t connect and sometimes they hit through my shield. I expect to be able to handle myself well with a single goblin, but sometimes even at 80 Stamina I get combo’d harder than a at a Smash Tournament and die from exhaustion.
Ive tried standing against a wall in a narrow corridor, to shield and swing which was okay. And I liked using the bow and slowing them but then I get wrecked if I don’t kill them quickly. ;(
I think the best way (and most fun) I found was grind some money then hit them with a frag mines and run. Super satisfying to wipe out a whole camp with a bunch of bombs 😎
ps: I turn using alt but I mainly use the arrows because I want to run too, but that causes me to swing too late or turn and move instead of just turning…
