How to unpack VOTV 0.8.2c correctly, no matter how I unpack VOTV, when starting even a new save slot, I get an error:

Unreal Engine is exiting due to D3D device being lost. (Error: 0x0 - 'S_OK')"
and if I press the "OK" button, the game closes, but I can start the game itself
