I understand why you decided to move on from this project, it's really hard to make a game like this that's balanced, has a large world, tons of writing, etc.

At the same time, I absolutely loved my time with the demo and was pretty crushed when I got to the end and realized there wasn't any more. The characters were amazing, both visually in their design and animation, as well as their personality. Just like A Short Hike, this game just made me smile the whole time playing it in a way that few games these days do.

Keep up the great work on whatever you have queued up next, and if you ever decide you want to flesh out this project know there'd be tons of people who would love to play it.

Cool game! Could use some rebalancing towards the latter half where you can't see where you're aiming, and the fishes' poor eyesight means that if your aim is one degree off you're not catching anything, requiring a re-cast which is very slow. Still an enjoyable little game though.

TBH, I'm seeing coverage of this demo disk EVERYWHERE! If you guys went to some kind of publisher and pitched this, showing them the numbers I bet you could get some kind of monthly subscription thing going shipping physical discs. I would definitely subscribe if it existed

Knowledge of JavaScript + Rum = Bitsy Pacman clone :P

I'll do a write-up on my blog and post it here soon. In the meantime the source is available for download if you know JS. Almost all of the custom code is within the first script tag.

EDIT: Writeup here: http://if-true-blog.blogspot.com/2019/10/hacking-bitsy-to-run-ai-pt-1-getting-to...
