Really well done, you've perfectly captured the movement and style of the original. That said, it's a little eerie playing KF1 in a good framerate, lmao!

Yo! Is this really Megazeux? I haven't played a mzx title since , like, '07. Are those sprites? And movement off of the 80x24 grid??

Gameplay is great! I love the magical girl transformation mechanic, and it's great how some of the monsters can spread fire. Multi-use potions might be a little too effective, tho.

I can't figure out where else I'm able to go. Every way forward I can find is locked.

There's a certain melancholy to finding what looks to be a great game on itch, only to see that the last dev update was in 2017. After playing through and deeply enjoying the demo, I am very glad to see that it is still in active development!

Is there anything more after getting the Geosuit, or is that the end of the demo?

I really dug what I've played so far!

One complaint: it feels like there should be a way to restock on ammo after dying. If you go to the wrong places in the wrong order, you can dump all your ammo into monsters that don't drop any. At this point your run is basically screwed no matter how many clones you have.

The other space ship next to the starting location is a good example of this. I spent my bottom bullet clearing it out and didn't have anything left for the big monster guarding the only unlocked passage forward.

What are the keyboard controls?

I figured out Ctrl = Attack, and Space = Jump, but is that all of them?
