Thank you so much for the submission!

Hi all, I extended the end date of the jam again so I would have more time to do some things on the admin side. Additionally, mental illness has been kind of wacky the last few weeks (who would have guessed, LOL). If you have already submitted your project, thank you so much! This is not a push for you to work more on it (unless you wish to!). If you haven't submitted yet, this gives you a bit more time. As always, feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions.
Thanks all,
Yume
Basically what the title says. the end date of the jam has been extended to the first week of July. A reminder that WIPs are welcome and encouraged, so any contribution (no matter how big or small) is welcome! And you are also welcome to update your zines post-submission, so don't worry about getting it 'done' by the end of the month.
Hi all! we're exactly halfway through the zine jam. Curious how people's projects are going- are you still in the planning phase? Working phase? done?
Personally, I'm still in the planning phase! I expect I'll be submitting a work in progress or two.
Let me know if you need help with anything such as reminders, writing buddies, resources, or just someone to bounce off of!
As a reminder, Works in Progress are allowed for this jam, just make sure to submit a product page before the closing date.
Hi everyone! Hope zine making or brainstorming has been going well :) This Saturday (June 14th) I'll be hosting two sessions of a chill get-together online to make zines. If you are someone who does well with parallel play, this would be a good opportunity. The event will be hosted on our discord: https://discord.gg/q5E9qFqTXf
The times will be Saturday, June 14th:
1st sesh: Afternoon 1pm-3pm/10am-12pm PST/ 6pm-8pm BST
2nd sesh: Evening 6pm-8pm EST/ 3pm-5pm PST/ 11pm-1am BST
You don't have to voice call, but you are welcome to chime in or just hang out! Hope to see y'all there :D
You're welcome to participate! It's for the dissociative *community* (emphasis on community) so no, you don't need to identify with a specific disorder to be a participant, just that you identify with the community and its experiences (of various forms). Personally, I am not diagnosed officially, so it would be hypocritical to expect that from the other participants.
The part about DID representation in media is more of a "reasoning for creating the jam" and a hope that the content from the jam will counter some of that bad rep. Not the entire goal of the jam, but more like a guiding factor.
I'd be happy to hear more about your experience and see what you make for the jam!
