So, go ahead and write your story. Do something kind.
You never know whose life you might change for the better.

Honestly, not much to say here. It's a nice little prequel VN about the John Ransom IMG_1697 himself. There's really only one horror scene, but the story's still really really fuckin depressing.

Overall good stuff. Can't wait for the art update.

I love what you did with the concept here, and I really wished this project could've been continued with the rest of the routes and chapters. But even if this demo is all we're getting it's still a quirky little VN that I liked a lot, and I don't think it's a waste of time at all.

Here is the real IMG_1697. Worry not, for this image will not make you go mad.
Spread the word.

TRANSMASC REPRESENTATION!!!!!

This is, honestly, a phenomenal visual novel. There are just so many little moments in the story that help elevate the story, drop the scariest shit you'll ever see, or a goofy one-off joke. I entered the game thinking it'll be a good game like TCCR19, and came out with something far beyond my expectations.

Of course, there are still some teeny tiny flaws that do bring the experience down a bit, but the greats are just far greater than the bads.

I'll say though, this game is VERY gore heavy, especially in the second half where shit gets real. And in my personal opinion, after a while, it does kind of loses it's shock value. Maybe that's intended or something, I'm not sure.

Overall, great game, great horror, great story. Highly recommend.

dont care about the porn stuff. gameplay is awesome. please add spike hell 2 and fix issue of projectile phasing through the ground at high speed thank you.

ngl was not expecting the typism rant but overall this was amusing

The main menu music is Moonheart ('moonheart.ogg' in the game files)

I hearby swear, with what little strength yet flows in my veins...this rotted, decaying world will be made better.
And I pity the fools who dare stand in my way.

After I got done with the current Repeat, I went straight to this game just because I wanted more shirokoi. And oh boy, did shirokoi deliver. Because this VN is absolutely awesome.

Favorite thing about this game is definitely the world-building. Even if some of them are just generic fantasy DnD stuff. I love learning about the lore of the church, the bonemarrows, the houses, and other stuff like that.

Also the characters are done really well. Cole might be the first hornball character that I actually like, Sidd being actually competent and not just "the reasonable guy" definitely took me by surprise, and Artemi is so bafflingly innocent in everything that she's my favorite character in the whole game. Only one that I don't like here is Malus, but that's probably cuz it's only mid chapter 4.

Anyway, since the game still isn't finished, that'll be all I'm bring up for now. Can't wait for the next update to come!

Thanks but that's the wrong song. I'm talking about the one AFTER the hand holding. The sillier one.

Anyway, thanks for the direction. I'll go try to find it myself.

edit: I found it! It's lullaby-guitar.ogg

Also can someone tell me what's the name of the goofy song that plays during Jinny's first encounter in the back of the school please I'm desperate.

I... did not understand the story. I feel like I'm lost in the endless labyrinth of time travel and multiverse and casualty and other bullshit. I'll come back to this review to talk about the story once I've finished rereading through the whole game again. But for now, I have some thoughts:

This game is a masterpiece. Genuinely, this is one of the greatest visual novel of all time.

First, the art. Oh. My. God. The art. They are, hands down, the cutest characters I've ever seen. Everyone feels so soft and gentle and expressive and I want to see more and more of them! It makes me sad that there won't be anymore art like this. I would kill TWO person to get more art like this.

Second, the humor. Even though they aren't throat breaking laugh worthy, they still gave me a lot of chuckles. I especially love the moments where the art, gameplay elements, and music comes together to make a genuinely funny joke. Speaking of music...

Third, the soundtrack. Classic stock tracks never goes wrong. And as said previously, I love the way the bg music contributes the humor in some of the parts.

Last, the characters. I love everyone here, especially our boy Spencer and our other boy Ian. Everyone is such a joy to interact with. I'll kill like, one more dude if that means we can get more 9:22 content.

Anyway, I'll go replay this again. Still gotta find out what the fuck is happening. Feels like I'm pulling up some kinda SCP Exploration logs in a way, actually.

also the fuck kinda name is "cockhole"???

Maybe... there is love in me?

I'm a bit late to this, but I still wanted to make a review because I make one for every game that I love. And I love this game.

I'll admit. I did not complete all the puzzles by myself. I tried until that spreadsheet puzzle where I just gave up and read the solutions in the txt file. And to be honest? I don't regret it. Games are meant to be fun, and banging my head around a puzzle where I don't have any clue on what to do isn't fun. I'm sure the Author agrees, or else they wouldn't have added the txt file to begin with.

First time around I skipped around most of the story file just because I just wanted to get on with the puzzles as quickly as possible. I didn't understand anything and was left kind of empty at then end. Then I decided "eh, why not. let's just go back and read the story one by one." And so I did that. Pull out all the chapters and read them one by one in one sitting.

Let's just say that I was sobbing by the final chapter.

Anyway, I don't think I'm qualified to review the story because I still don't understand quite a lot of it and I'm not a good writer. What I do want to say though is that I LOVE the world building in this game. There are so many curious little details that only reveal itself when you really take your time to analyse the story itself. And this actually brings me to my final point on why I love this game so much:

This game is both an SCP and an ARG.

I actually thought of this around the first half of the game. This game has many elements reminiscent of the super complex and story rich skips, mainly the experiment logs being the main medium used to tell the narrative, and the omission of information in an in-universe way. Alongside with literally being an Alternate Reality Game where you need to use outsider knowledge in order to beat it. Both of these are things that I'm fond of, and finally seeing someone blend them together into a masterpiece of an experience makes me very, very happy.

I don't think I'll ever get to experience anything like this ever again.

    Move Forward
> Repeat

Just picked up the game today and completed Sissel's route. Safe to say, this game did not dissapoint. Definitely up there on one of my favorite VNs ever. Every character in the story was such a joy to experience (except for Owen) and I loved the heavy plot points and fights and whatever time travel wish magic bullshittery is going on. kinda reminds me of In Stars and Time actually

One thing that I didn't like though is Owen. He's just kinda a nothingburger when you remove all the horny. Maybe he's more expanded in his route, but I really can't stand him currently. Also I don't like the new buff design very much.

Edit: Just completed the current Owen's route. It did made me appreciate his antics a lot more, and I like his backstory. Still not a big fan of big Owen though.

Also just wanted to mention the music is awesome, even if a lot of it were just Kevin Macleod's top picks.

Anyway, I guess I'll just wait until my second fav boy, Phillip's route is finished, which will surely be completed in the not far far far far future hopefully :)
