I'd like some clarification on that myself. So far though I've just treated it as "roll within the upper half of your dice range to avoid gaining brokenness"

Ran this with two of my friends and we had a lot of fun!! It definitely ran heavy on improv with the way the dice system worked which we all loved. Can't wait to see the final version of the handbook

Okay, I looked really hard at it for a couple more minutes and the way I see it is the Demiurge DOES roll dice against the player roll, and how many they roll is dependent on the CP/DC. So it is just rolling against the player, but like more weighted depending on the circumstance

Hi there, really enjoying this so far. Big big fan of Hylics so I'm excited to play Demiurge for my friends. I do need some clarification on the dice rolling when it comes to performing actions, though

The way I originally interpreted it was it was a bit like a typical TTRPG difficulty class feature, but then I read on and there's like a part where the Demiurge rolls against the player's roll? Maybe I'm overlooking something but I feel like that section could be rephrased
