Thank you!

Fun idea and artstyle!

(1 edit)

Cute little game! The sounds were fun and the art was very pretty. The concept is also interesting and it works well! I was just missing a "lose" condition to put a bit more pressure on balancing both sides and maybe going for certain recipes. But I had fun! :)

Edit: My highscore was 250 on my first try - almost beat yours! haha

thank you for the feedback!

Ohhhh yeahhh you are right haha I remember that game now - absolute coincidence but a nice reference for when I want to polish it more!

thank you so much, glad you had fun with it! Balancing is so difficult with this one, but I'll definitely try to polish it a bit more haha

You were so close, wow!

Nice little game, I got motion sick though lol

Haha I enjoyed yours though! Fun mechanic and thematic idea :)

thank you! Happy to hear that :)

thank you, glad you liked it.

The idea was that the opposite worlds are Court and Peasants and that you need to balance their needs! Rich and poor, powerful few vs powerful many, and so. :)

Fun! I like the random plane segment and the final stage the most :)

Strangely captivating - I played through it two times to get another ending and understand the lore better. I was actually bummed out when it ended, well done!

The artstyles were very nice! Very cool looking and creative. I did not enjoy the "gameplay" much however, very monotonous, tedious, and slow. Lovely sound design though :)

I like the concept and the execution is cool - great possibility for interesting puzzles and mechanics! I just got stuck at level 4 because I think the Goo isn't working as it should - after 1 or 2 moves, it "unstucks" me and I run into the spikes.

But great first game jam entry, congrats!!

Thanks for the notice! Noted and will be addressed in another update :)

Super polished, love the sounds and artstyle, and the gameplay is entertaining. Well done!

If polished more it could be a fun roguelike - just the shop needs to pop up way more often and you need to be able to buy multiple items. And the melee attacked was absolutely useless, throwing the sword was the only way to not get hit (by crabs at least).  I like the idea of making your own room harder and harder to beat though!

Interesting idea and could be used to teach programming or at least teaching to understand code. Checkpoint system and UI needs more work.

Cute game, I like the art and the changing mechanics were refreshing. Polished as well, good job!

Super cool and pleasing to play! Love the art and creativity of puzzles :)

Fun entry, i like the idea of having to upgrade the carts individually and that they spin - nice use of the theme. And that ghosts attack is just cute. Well done overall :)

Very cool idea! It needs some heavy UI, sound, and QoL work, but I absolutely respect the creativity and I love the general aesthetic of using an old map.

Very cool entry, loved the visuals especially and the mechanic was interesting! Managed it in 260 seconds. Good level design as well that made it puzzle-esque combined with dodging skills! Good job :)

Super cool and creative! Loved the visuals and simplicity of the sound and all. Sadly I got stuck at the level that introduces the slow, but enjoyed my time very much till then, well done!

Generally a nice idea! Would have loved if the dash would at least give damage protection and enemies would have a bit of a push-back when I hit them. I liked how the floating heads just spun around whenever I hit them though, that was cute and the art in general is nice!

Fun idea, haven't even thought about an animation loop and manipulating it for when we brainstormed! My highscore was 35 and seems like I am not good at this game reading the other comments hahaha

I really enjoyed this! It's simple but it takes some skill and is very easy to understand. Well done in under 8 hours!

Liked it, fun mechanic and fits so well into the space setting!

Nice first entry! I found the movement funny and the automatic-crafting that incentivizes finding the recipies was interesting! Congrats on finishing your first game :)

Nice game, I love card-roguelikes so this was very much a bonus for me already - just sad that it isn't very balanced and super luck based basically! But cool concept and I could definitely see myself play more of this :)

Fun racer, i like the racing track and music, however I found it irritating that you can see the boosters/etc from the flipped road through but not the upcoming ones - made it very difficult and partially impossible to react to slows or get the boost as they were behind the curvature. But nevertheless had fun! :)

Don't worry, we are terrible at it too - but glad you find it fun!

Cute game and impressive that you did this for your first game jam! I like the atmosphere and graphics, but found it a bit tedious to always re-do the level to progress a little bit - would have been nice if the level also changed a bit, maybe just graphics or slightly different positions of the elements! But generally, solid entry, job well done, be proud.

Very fun concept and "out of the box" thinking. The "loop" theme is not strongly given, but yeah, "Loophole" kinda works I suppose, haha! Love the UI too - good job on making this, very impressive.

haha great!

wow thank you so much for the kind words, so happy you enjoyed it!

Yeah, the second tank sadly breaks the game 😭 we will fix it eventually 🙏

yeah seem like a bunch of people didn't realize that or forgot about it after a bit. Will try to address that in the after-jam build!

Love the artstyle and chaos, and great polish on it. Well done!

So simple but very polished and with a fun level design that makes you go around the whole world multiple times - each time with new ways to unlock shortcuts and get closer to the goal!
