Thank you for the wonderful feedback! The cheesing we encountered was honestly unintentional, but we decided to leave most of it in due to a combination of time constraints and because I thought it would be more fun. The font size was admittedly a last minute change to make the monologues fit on smaller screens, but I agree that it's not nearly the best solution. I'm glad you enjoyed playing either way!

Heya! Very fair feedback indeed. When it comes to the movement, I wasn't the one working on it but it was something that we've had a problem with since the very start, juggling between it feeling too stiff and being too slippery, and in the end we just didn't have enough time to balance it out properly. I completely agree with you on that. I did work on the parallax background logic, and I'm not satisfied with it either, but same as the movement, I just didn't have enough time to fix the issues I have with them. We decided the game should have 5 levels, each representing one area, for story reasons. I do take responsibility for the design of the final 3 levels however, and I do appreciate the feedback on the clues. We have been planning a little post-jam patch for the game and we should work on most of these issues! I'm sorry you felt sick!
Hey everyone!
We just submitted our game to the jam. We worked day and night on it for these past ten days, so we would very much appreciate your feedback, and if you were to rate our entry! It's our team's second game ever.
It's an atmospheric 2D puzzle platformer involving cable-routing puzzles in a harsh, industrial, post-apocalyptic environment. Takes around 30 minutes to an hour to finish. There's a big focus on story, and it's one about love, loss, chaos, and hope. If you're into puzzles, philosophy or eschatology, we believe you would enjoy this game.

Thanks a lot for playing!
Thank you for the compliments! At the end of the grass area there is the Hollowtree, which is the next area of the game, but as the position of the Hollowtree is randomly chosen, it could potentially take quite a few minutes to get to it. We might adjust the difficulty of the game once the voting phase of the jam is over.
I know about the antivirus thing :P. But don't worry, the reason is probably that my game is a .bat file, which is a type of file that communicates with the command line. I have only used commands such as echo (for writing things on screen), and other basic commands, none of them are harmful to your PC. If you don't believe me, you can right click the file, and click edit, where you'll see the source code.
