i was just thinking that the first dream like part reminds me of baldurs gate three and the guardian character!

i agree with this! I think it could enhance the humor a bit if in the photos it showed actual photos of the player with the celebrities or something like that. I also got the bad bad ending my first try 😭

I agree with this! It reminds me of resident evil one liners, sure they’re cheesy but as you said, very charming!

this is very fun! I like the lightheartedness! If I could add something, I think it would be cool for the narrator to break the fourth wall more often- similar to how it does when you click No. Great job!

yes looking back on it I can definitely see this, ty both for the feedback! This totally went over my head lol

yes I agree with this! The ui is beautiful I think maybe a slight tweak to the font and text size and some background images in future iterations could take this to the next level! Maybe even some sprites for characters!

i like all the characters and how the story has started, the only thing I would suggest would be to add instructions within the game itself to make it easier for players to progress. I do really like the aesthetic, great job!

age of ultron is so peak- remember when the MCU was so good that people thought that movie was mid? Good times

very funny concept! If I could add one thing, I wish there was another ending maybe between the selling your soul to the company and then completely blowing you off- maybe a way to manipulate your employer ? (I hope my manager doesn’t see this) overall, I really enjoyed this!

the art really reminds me of wings of fire- I don’t remember much from those books except for the art tbh. Also the blood ocean reminds me of iron lung!

very very cool concept. Kind of spooky! It reminds me of the movie it’s what’s inside, but a much deeper more existential version, as the movie is not as intense as this was.

this was fun! It kind of reminded me of the office in some of the endings, it seemed like something that some of the less serious characters would say to their bosses, but somehow not get in trouble. Very funny, great job!

very cool! I got a few endings, but one in particular reminded me of something like metal gear solid or even the winter soldier from marvel. Very interesting character development, I’d love to see you build on this more!

MIKAYLA MENTION!! I really liked this! I think I got all the endings, but I also really appreciated the font and the background images. The font made it feel very mediaeval and fancy, despite the darker themes once you get to the castle. It was also easier to keep track of where I was with the background images. Great job!

@kay24601 / kay do you know how long I was on that damn TAB page! The game interface is lovely and I like the typeface and the color choice you used for the game it really fit in with the theme that you setup for the game. this game captured the feeling of wonder and frustration so perfectly.

damn i was just trying to drink boba smh. This was very well done, the use of red for options, as well as the font made the sort of eerie gothic feeling much more prevalent. I also like how even though in all the endings I got, I died, they were all different deaths and they had different paths. Very nicely done!

super cool idea! I was only able to get one story line, but I wonder if this was inspired by a certain universe? Also, are there more characters to interact with than just the bar tender? I would love to play this through all the way, great job!

@gloriium/ellie

I definitely think this game was made out of frustration with the computer (AND I FEEL YOU SO BADLY coding really feels so awful when it doesn't work), I think especially with the computer telling you what to do (e.g. an error code that tells you why it doesn't work) and feeling like you are being controlled by the program itself. I think you utilize the page images/elements quite well and it makes for an interesting narrative.

Very cool concept, I really like the mechanic of actually being able to input your own text! I do wonder if the game is more about actually wanting to let go of someone but not being able to, or trying to convince yourself that you want to. Very well done!

I really liked this! My whole crew did die 3 times before we got out alive, but we got there eventually! Was this game inspired by a specific story? Also, did you intend for the mystery element of what was killing the crew to be supernatural? Or just a reflection of how dangerous sailing is? Overall, I really enjoyed this, great job!

This reaffirmed how horrible I am at math, I’m never getting this job. Very cool game, I definitely wasn’t expecting it to be this complex! I also found it interesting how myself and other players abstained from using a calculator despite it not being in the rules. Well done!

This was very cool! My high score was a 4/5 which is slightly concerning, I think I need to go over the syllabus again. I also like how it doesn’t tell you which answers you got wrong, so each attempt you really second and third guess yourself. Well done!

This game felt very reminiscent of what a day in my dogs life would be! I really liked how many different options there were, and how realistic they all were. it makes me wish I was a dog who could sleep on the couch all day- great job!

John Hammond would have loved this

I really like the vibe of the game, the page itself adds a lot to the sort of grand feeling of the idea of this library.

This captured how it feels to be a kid scared of the dark super well. The character being unrealistically small is super accurate to that feeling, and the sounds add a lot to the scariness of it. Very nicely done!

i really like the lighting of this, looking out the window but none of the light reaching inside of the room really adds to the feeling of it being an out of reach memory, which the music also contributes to. It feels very heavy and powerful. Very well done!

I like the use of personal belongings to show which furniture belongs to the player, and which belongs to the one who left.

professional upstairs neighbors. Jokes aside, this was really well done and leaning into the noise made it feel very chaotic, and it also made the cut hit harder when its fully silent.

The assets look really good, and I liked the puns! The forklift one was my favorite!

very ominous, the sounds really added to the atmosphere. The animation looks great!

i love you coin ball bouncy ball tm

This reminded me of ratatoullie and I loved it! The scaling and the lighting is super well done!

The sky looks really really cool! I also like how although everything is huge, they're still mostly scaled in relation to each other.

The wind adds a lot to the uneasy feeling of the game. The position of all the statues except the one standing tall being very small and bunched up definitely adds to the eery feeling as well.

Very cool unsettling concept. I also appreciate the speed of running, I too am that eager to get to work. The progression of the plants dying and the building's appearance changing was also very well done, and the looping made sense with the sort of endless numbing cycle of going to work a corporate job everyday. Very nicely done!

Very cool looping pattern, even though the rooms technically staye the same, the movement of the objects within was very intriguing!

I really like how intense the invasion destruction scene was, the audio was very fitting and added to the stress the player feels. The sudden switch from a more peaceful vibe to being thrust into this chaos worked really well!

Incredible world building that is really enhanced by the narrative. Stunning work, and great symbolism with the fish!

I love the character designs and the dialogue! Even though you can only technically interact with each character once, they still all have very distinct personalities that work really well!
