I keep coming back to this game so often when I have downtime. It has really good potential. A stats menu or something similar would be nice to have so you can keep track with what "build" you're going for, or what upgrades you're behind on in general. Just speculation, but it looks like you can go past 100% crit chance? That could be fixed so it frees up an upgrade card slot.
I have more fun than I should with this beta. I hope it keeps getting updates.
I played this because I felt about about a comment you left on a YouTube video saying how your game didn't get a chance during a jam.
While the game isn't at all what you said the game jam hosts said it was, it is a bit frustrating at 2 points. The fact your thing can flip upside down causing you so be unable to jump is weird too, but you made an unstuck button for that reason. I am interested in what else you'll make next. I will be watching your career with great interest.
