This was a pretty fun experience though I think I should've gotten something for ''cleaning'' the entire interior of the station. I did have a couple stutters in some parts of the game but overall this was pretty solid, my only real recommendation would be to spend some more time on the audio design in future games, specially if they're situated in space. Your game is the second I play on my video and it starts at 24:48

Really love how you tackled what is undoubtedly a tough subject to talk about. Other devs would've made the father the main monster or enemy, but you showed someone desperately trying to change and do better, even if it was too late. The style reminds me of the Faith trilogy, which is definitely a good thing. I only wish there was a bit more in terms of audio design, even if just something simple like footsteps, cause the game did end up being too quiet. But overall, this was really good so keep up the good work! Your game is played over the first half of my video:
I cannot overstate how much I loved this, even though it is just a tiny part of what the full game will be. Whoever is behind the art for this game deserves a raise (or a pizza or something) because the art style is amazing. I mentioned Fran Bow as a comparison for the art but that one is colourful and whimsy (since it's through the eyes of a child) whereas here all of the colours, except for Echo, are muted since Vale clearly was battling depression. Maybe I'm reading into it too much but I can't avoid it when the art is that beautiful (would love to know what software you guys used for the art since I usually work on Procreate). The music and ambiance were also wonderful and I'm already super invested in the story, the writing is really nice and I love the sense of humour that occasionally pops up in the dialogue. Super well done, can't wait for the full release of this.
Fantastic as always, the atmosphere was on point and having to balance the machinery/computer while also having to keep an eye on whatever that creature was works super well for creating tension and paranoia. Bonus points for Gordon. I did not manage to input the admin password nor do I know if it's even possible but this was genuinely one of the scariest games I've played this year. Keep up the great work!
I'm a bit late to this due to health issues but I finally got to it and this is easily one of the more solid demos I've played this year. Audio design was good (but could be even better), tension was constant and the jumpscares weren't annoying (because they happen when you mess something up, so it's not like the game is constantly throwing them at the player which can be annoying). I'm curious to see what else it has in store so I'll definitely be playing it again to get the other two fragments and, of course, to play the full version once it comes out. Keep up the good work!
I couldn't figure out how to escape the monster but I'm pretty sure that's just skill issue on my part. Other than a couple of oddly translated sentences, this was a really nice experience. I really am a fan of the art style and, while simple, I think the monster's design works really well. Overall, good demo despite my inability to actually get to the end of it (because I ran out of time and had to stop recording). Keep up the good work!
Idea started out great but there are definitely loads of things that could be improved upon. It just felt like the gameplay was random, the jumpscares had little to no build up and the boss was frustrating rather than challenging. Small things that added up into a slightly frustrating experience. I see potential in the concept though.
While I personally wouldn't have added the horror tag to this, this game was still a very unique, visually pleasing experience. All the animations are great and the hand drawn style for the sketchbook is fantastic. Sound design is also pretty nice though it was a bit too loud (I forgot to check if there was a volume slider but if there isn't one, definitely consider adding it). My main issue were the controls for switching modes for the pencil and picking up the lens and I explain it better in the video at 12:08. Overall, really great demo, I'll definitely be on the lookout for when the full game comes out. Your game starts at 8:02 on my video
This was a fun way to get back to recording though I do wish there was a bit more to it. I think you missed an opportunity to play around with the audio design a bit more, like maybe add a wood creaking noise when the player walks away from the cabin, stuff like that. Even a cliché noise like a branch snapping near the player would've been nice. Other than that, it was short and sweet, straight to the point and the killer suddenly appearing on one of the photos was a nice touch. Keep up the good work mate! Your game is the first one on my video.
Delightful as always, you guys are great at making charming little puzzle games and I'm all here for it. The original TRACE was already quite fun so I can't wait to see how you guys improve it, definitely adding it to my wishlist for when it comes out. Though I must say, I'd love another claymation puzzle game, those are simply so unique. Anyway, keep up the good work!
I had to play this simply based on the concept, having to laugh at a monster's jokes in order to survive is simply a genius idea, definitely very creative and unique. That being said, I think the execution could've been a bit better and more polished but I understand this was your first game so don't take this as a negative thing. Besides, it is hard to truly polish a game made for a game jam since you're under a time limit in a sense. I think, for a first game, you've started off great with a cool and unique concept and I can only imagine where you're going from here so keep up the good work! Your game is the last one on my video and starts at 27:55
While this was waaay too short, I did really love how wibbly wobbly the town is, it's like it is the analogue horror version of how the town used to be if that makes any sense. Which is also why the town being completely silent works in this case, cause it adds to that feel of it all being very unnatural. Also somehow you managed to make the ''monster'' be both hilarious and scary, how did you do that lmao. Honestly I think the only real flaw of the game is that it was so short but sometimes we just need to make a small project to get the inspiration and motivation going so I get it. Anyway, your game is the second one on my video and starts at 15:43
You get bonus points for including a cat for the players to pet, that always makes any game better. Anyway, the game as a whole is fairly straight forward and ''simple'' but still quite effective at being spooky. Simple isn't a bad thing by the way, just making that clear. I do wish there was a bit more ambiance noise, perhaps crickets or distant city sounds just so it's not just silent footsteps the whole time. The ending isn't unexpected but you did manage to get the tension to build up and still be scary so great job there. For your first release on itch.io, this is a great start so keep up the good work! Your game is the first one on my video.
First thing I'll say (because I forgot to say it in the video) is that you guys probably should add a trigger warning at the start of the game (mainly because of the last two ''dishes'' since it technically involved self-harm). That being said, this was quite the experience, definitely very disturbing and unsettling especially the ''chopping up ingredients'' part cause it started off fun and satisfying but quickly turned absolutely horrifying as the game progressed. I really did love the visual style though, that nice retro 3D environments mixed with 2D sprites style is really nice to look at. Honestly I don't have much else to add that I didn't already say on my video despite how speechless I was by the end there lol. Great job overall devs!
This was very fun to play, I very much enjoyed it. Sound design, while simple, was still quite effective at creating a spooky and unsettling experience and while the ending was very unexpected (I was fully expecting a Loch Ness monster sort of situation lmao), it was quite cool of an ending. Also please have mercy on my very rusty Italian skills, I tried my best hahaha. Great job devs, I'll be keeping an eye out for any future releases!
The physics engine is a bit temperamental, I may or may not have yeeted myself at random directions by stepping on a plank while carrying it XD. Still, this was a fairly nice experience though I'm not sure I got to see everything it had to offer. I made some suggestion at the end of the video regarding the difficulty in case you want to take a look at that. I do like the disturbing nature of the game though, very nice. Overall, pretty great but prone to glitches (or maybe I'm just really unlucky)
Went into this blind and I must say, this was really more on the funny side rather than the horror side, if that makes any sense. Loved how silly it was though, specially loved that you let us hit the crap out of the ''monster'' (even if there were consequences in the end). The last jumpscare definitely got me though so good on ya. Overall, very fun experience with a bit of spookiness sprinkled on top. Also screw itch.io for flagging your account for no particular reason. Keep up the good work bro!
Very interesting game with cool concepts, the only moment I'd say I was a bit lost on what to do was at the very end but talking with the guy was apparently all I had to do to progress. The actual ''levels'' were very intuitive though. Overall, really cool, it's definitely a game that makes the player stop and think for a bit (not because of the puzzles but because of the questions and ideas posed by those TVs).
This is easily one of the best (if not THE best) indie horror game I've played this year and the fact that it's just the demo leaves me super excited for more. The atmosphere is creepy af, sound design is probably the best part of it and the monster designs are great. Everything about this game plays heavily on paranoia and will leave you constantly checking around you and panicking over every tiny noise you hear. It's been a while since a horror game has reduced me to incoherent noises and silence due to how scared I was. Seriously, great job guys and I can't wait for the full game, keep up the amazing work!
This was very fun to play and while it did spook me a couple of times, I do think there's some things that need to be tweaked. Mainly the audio, I personally thought the audio as a whole was very quiet. Having an ambiance volume slider already is great, but adding a ''sound effects'' slider as well would really help. Another thing is adding footsteps to the guy, so that the player can actually plan when and where to go based on where the guy is. The bells are nice but the fact that they activate whenever you're in the guy's vicinity instead of activating only when he notices you, is kind of deceptive. A couple of times, I could hear the bells simply because I was on another floor but still near him. So perhaps having those bells ring only when he sees the player would be better. Those are my main suggestions, there's probably a couple of other things I mentioned in the video but I forget them now XD. Other than these few tweaks, this was very fun and I like the puzzle aspect of having to figure out what to do with each item. Keep up the good work!
This was absolutely hilarious to play while simultaneously being an engaging, dark fantasy experience, I'm definitely interested in playing a full version of this. Couple recommendations though: (that I'm pretty sure I forgot to mention on my video) please add a volume slider, the music is quite loud at times and honestly I don't know if the music chosen really fits with this style of game. Another thing, I would definitely add a trigger warning on the game itself since not everyone might notice the warning that is on this page. Other than that, great demo overall and I love the art for the characters, items, etc.
Very unsettling game, I like seeing the visual novel style used for horror, it makes for a pretty unique experience. I would recommend having someone or something to help check grammar and spellings though, since there were quite a few little mistakes or sentences that could've been worded a bit better. Other than that though, great game. I especially liked the use of sounds to indicate when the guest entered the character's home, hearing the noises from the kitchen was pretty cool.
Please I would love more, I had a blast playing this game and would love an excuse to dive back into it. Honestly, the basic game mechanics are already quite good but having more creatures and events to interact with would indeed be awesome. It also would be cool if we got to see little snippets of what the main character does after his shift (like eating the blood food, going home and stuff like that), nothing overcomplicated, just simple and quick things to give the whole experience a little extra flavor. That would be my only suggestion since I'm absolutely on board with the changes you are already proposing. Will definitely add this to my wishlist as soon as it is available
While I am slightly annoyed at it being on an awkward window, this was a very unique and interesting horror game, I like it a lot. Kind of gives off an eldritch horror vibe since it plays into the fear of the unknown and the bizarre, the lack of explanation about certain things just boosts that deeply unsettling sense of not knowing what's happening. That plus the very creepy visuals makes this a great horror experience so good job developer(s)!
Forgot to link this here yesterday but this was a pretty fun horror game (which got progressively more spooky the more chaos my cat caused). I do have to question the logistics of the vent on this game though because why is it so unbelievably long lol? Jokes aside, not bad at all but maybe add a volume slider just in case other people's setups make the sounds too quiet or too loud (kind of important to have that setting when your main game mechanic is listening to noises)
So here is the full video I made of this game in which I did not in fact finish the game cause I fully broke it instead. Still, despite my bad luck with bugs, this game was great. I already love dungeon crawlers but add in puzzles and a very unique visual style and you’ve got a great game in your hands. Really just need to work around those bugs though or add in the option to save and load. Great job overall, not sure if I’ll make another video on it but I might try to play it until the end just on my own time.
So I have no idea how close to the end of the game I was, cause I totally broke it in a way that made it unplayable. You might want to make your walls less fragile hahaha. Other than that though, this was pretty interesting though I’d be lying if I said I fully understood what it was about (and not seeing the end probably didn’t help). So uhhh sorry I broke your game lmao
Absolutely fantastic demo, I was genuinely sad when it ended. Desperately need more of this, very unique concept that was executed super well. I also love the contradiction of having a super cute style and yet also have horrors beyond our comprehension (even though we only saw those horror at the very end, I can already tell things are gonna get very spooky). Keep up the amazing work guys, I’ll be eagerly waiting for the full release!
