Bugs: can see the collision strips and the player turns/floats

Strengths: I like the monochromatic colour scheme and the raggedy doll look of the player. The perspective on the room is really good too.

Weaknesses: Not walking straight and being in one room (for now), and not being able to access the stairs

Changes or Improvements: Correct player code, could have a light follow the player - would contrast the dark background too

Bugs: Nothing really

Strengths: The character is easy to move, I like that the black stuff (not sure what it is) tracks the player and the player flashes when hit

Weaknesses: There is no goal/purpose right now or way to defend yourself against the black stuff. The background is quite plain and it's not clear what you're meant to do e.g. explore rooms, fight different bosses, etc

Changes or Improvements: Could add a health bar and more details

Bugs: Going into nothingness if you go to the left in the beginning (no collision wall)

Strengths: Player design, the moving blobs in the background are a cool element and the slide walls

Weaknesses: Maybe a screen or something explaining what you're meant to do

Changes or Improvements: Could add more complex features like breakable or moving platforms

Bugs: collision on branches

Strengths: World and player design is really good, I like that mushrooms are the platforms and the characters glow

Weaknesses: You can fall through a branch on the right

Changes or Improvements: Having the lamplight turn with the player and maybe a counter for the lanterns so you know how many there are to light

Bugs: Start screen took a while/not sure it worked

Strengths: Love the art style and details like being given information when the player hovers over certain things and the variety of characters

Weaknesses: In the pink/purple kitchen the mixing stands on the right worktop look like they're laying sideways 

Changes or Improvements: The character could move faster
