It lacks an interactive tutorial (fortunately there are written explanations, although insufficient), and some highlights or colors to indicate what we can use. Once I found the buttons, I never managed to make a single tape. However, I really like the game’s pitch, the visuals are very beautiful, the atmosphere is great, and the idea of having a narrative frame is nice. Good job to the team!
Maybe a bug: I tried to redo a game and it seems that the tapes didn’t renew themselves.

Original, fun, simple, the art and the soundesign add so much fun and charm to the game. This is a smart submission. Congrats to the team!

Cool game and nice art ! A pair of play buttons sorted to the tower would have given a polished look. The lamplight effect is very good. Didn't manage to win once after many trials. I laugh at the lava lamp; our wizards must live in a close universe.

Nice solo submission :)

Once I had the spike shell, I was invincible haha

This is a very impressive solo dev, congratulation! Very polished, good art. The effect on water is very cool, but cons is the control on the left side is barely readable. I think this is one of the best submissions regarding the theme I saw.

I was wondering the miniature, is beautiful but is there a mispelling of the title "Mutantion" or a pun i didn't get ?

(1 edit)

I was not expecting a mystery game in this jam; this is such a nice surprise. I was not able to go too far in the game, cause I'm not a native English speaker, so reading a lot of text is exhausting (not your fault at all) But I wanted anyway to leave a comment just to salute the atmosphere you have created. The flip of the page is very satisfying. I want to try to play your game later, with more time to concentrate!

Instead of a drag and drop, a click on the ingredient to put it on the cutting board would make the player experience more enjoyable. Also, it would be better if the bubble with the menu of the customer didn't disappear. It's a nice solo project in 9 days; and cool you developed a story around it

I love the wacky space vibe in general. In the art, the description of the space monster, the sound... I need to mention the tavern inside the ship and Jane and Tina looking so salty, aside from Lars so happy to be there. The cinematic at the beginning, very classy. The game already has a nice personality! Honestly I was completely lost after the cinematic. I started clicking around to try stuff, didn't know what was expected of me, and couldn't see much of the consequences of my actions. I played it a second time and it felt easier. A tutorial would be a nice addition. But no worries, for a solo project on 9 days, this is a very nice submission, congratulations on your work !

Do you plan to keep working on it?

Thank you for your kind words! :)

Thank you for playing the game and your comment! I'm glad you enjoy the art! :)

Glad your enjoyed the game and the letter! We take note of your constructive feedback :) On the counter screen, I could probably draw a poster/note in the shelf to show the recipe, but it's interesting to know you were thinking about the plant screen. Thank you so much for playing the game and your comment!

Thank you for playing the game and your comment! I'm so glad you enjoy the visuals. I didn't know the word "wacky", but it sums up well the vibe we wanted to give to the game. We take note of your constructive feedback :)

The media player's vibe is really of hypnotic indeed!  The general vibe suit very well the subject of the game, well done. I just found the police a bit small to be comfortable to be read. Well done :-)

It's a nice mechanic that the player is under the obligation to use the mutated organs to buy time and make the patient survive. Unsettling and original, a very nice submission.

The start with the animation is chef kiss. Such a clever idea, and it kind of sells the game.

The overall look  is adorable and consistent, the choice of music suits perfectly the vibe.  You put attention in details, from the start to the credit page. I appreciate the little tutorial at the beginning. The dragonfly noise brought me some memories of Rayman!

Also, froggy kind of moves like a little ballet dancer, it was obviously not the point but it made me laugh haha

Congrats finishing the game for the jam and good luck with you future project!

Thank you so much for your comment. I'm so pleased that you found the game's visual aspect enjoyable! It was my first teamwork and game jam,  so this first comment means a lot to me :)
