I'm not sure how itch does reviews, so here goes an informal one in the topics.

I had my eye on this game for a bit, intrigued by the premise. It verily exceeded my expectations I must say! It also has made all my inner monologue come out in Olde English! Exciting and most assuredly not growing old by the second! (Not the game's fault, my brain is a malleable sound sponge.)

I was most delightfully surprised to find this game was inspired by notes from an actual astrological 'physician' and ended up doing some research after the first play session to learn more about this mysterious and overly amorous doctor Forman (dear doctor, what questionable behavior you engage in off-screen is Not my fault and I sometimes am most vexed with your...persuasions...). The writing made me laugh aloud quite often, the songs not only wonderfully performed but similarly lyrically risible. The delivery of the lines by the voice actors is integral and each character really had their own engaging story that unfolded in a 'page-turning' way. (hoho! yes I'm sorry) Speaking of 'page-turning', I find the art-style fits the atmosphere of the game and enjoy the various characters and their ever-changing expressions as each story is told.

I believe my only suggestion is a very slight one that isn't quite a necessary feature I wish the game had but one I would have valued. Given the vast quantity of information each scene lays upon you, I do wish there was some way (somewhat similar to say Phoenix Wright games) to scroll through or look at the script of what was just said after the interchange. That is, I do wish while consulting the stars, I could peek back at my 'casebook' and read what I and the patient had said in full. Again, not a MAJOR thing, but for those of us with leaky brains and distracted attentions, it would help greatly to read and re-process the case before making the final 'astrological reading'.

Other than that, this game really outdid itself in my eyes! I'm not quite done yet (another plus - this game I sat down to play in a quick session has turned into a week-long affair; there is a LOT more content than I expected in this game! And this is just my first playthrough!), but it has provided quite a few hours of laughter and puzzlement, as well as some learning on the side. I commend the whole team on this project! Thank you for sharing this project with us!

Can't wait to play again! I wonder what telling everyone they are 'bewitched' will do...?
