aw, thank you so much! I appreciate that that makes me feel good! And yeah, I got together with a couple friends who helped me with the art and sounds. And you really think so?

thank you! And yea maybe i over scoped for this jam I just got so excited with this idea. I kept building on it and putting new stuff.. maybe I threw too much of a tutorial at the beginning lol but yeah, the game has 10 different canonical endings with a secret 11th after you unlock them all and even after you get each ending the dialogue changes in the characters slowly start to realize where they are.
Subject: Looking for Playtesters! 🎮
Hey everyone!
I’m looking for people willing to playtest my game jam entry and give some honest feedback.
It’s a Danganronpa-inspired visual novel where six strangers are trapped in a deadly game involving a revolver each round. The game focuses on mystery, character interactions, choices, and suspense.
If you have a few minutes to spare, I’d love to hear: • Any bugs you encounter • Parts that were confusing • Which characters stood out to you • Whether the story kept you engaged
Thanks to anyone willing to give it a shot! Every bit of feedback helps make the game better. ❤️
i deleted your comment because you were the 2nd comment saying my game was AI when it clearly wasn’t. The only comments i had where hate comments calling my game AI and that looks bad for someone that worked really hard on a game just to have the only 2 comments say it’s AI. I believed no one would even click on my game if they read that hence why i deleted it. But i apologize, maybe that was the dumb decision and i see that now.
as for the AI art, yes i replaced it because i had it as a place holder but it wasn’t my final product. I originally had emojis as the UI but i wanted to make an actual image because i thought they looked ugly so i put those as a place holder while i finish illustrating the correct ones. But now i see that was also a mistake. I have removed them and just went back to Emojis until i finish my final UI.
It’s fine if you report me, I’m not mad about that l, i just got tired of the endless bashing you were giving me. But i do understand your concern and will do anything you need for reassurance to prove otherwise.
thank you.
ok this is getting out of hand is is getting a little ridiculous so i figured to come in here and answer all these questions.
1.the game was programmed by myslef and my best friend who helped me out tremendously but didnt want credit, he just wanted to help me make the code and all the aspects. No AI was used.
2.ive been working on this game for months, you can even see i posted it before i even joined the game jam. I have a Tik Tok page where I’ve been talking about my game and the way i built it for months now. Again no AI.
3.i asked my friend to help me change it because i did originally reply to the person who wrote this post but he replied again with harassment so i got tired of it and just asked my friend to help me change the code since that’s the way we originally wrote it.
4.yes the second game i uploaded to another game Jam does have AI, they’re was no rule against AI in that jam so i used it for images. And of coarse the coding is going to look the same. Me and my friend code the same and we like to keep things clean. And if you look at the other game it’s still a visual novel style game that is what I’m good at so obviously it’s going to look similar some it’s my specialty. And as for me marking the other no AI that wasn’t on purpose, i will definitely change that because i agree if something has used AI then it should be stated. But no AI has gone into this game i made, i worked so dam hard on this project and it kinda sucks it keeps getting called AI and this guy is having a witch hunt on me…..
Hey everyone!
I made a short horror game for the jam called THEY KNOW, and I’d really love if you gave it a try.
It’s a self-contained horror experience disguised as a haunted smartphone. You’re the new kid at a new school, and a group chat called “the table 🍕” adds you out of nowhere , five strangers who decide you’re one of them. Over five chapters you text them, scroll their photos and posts, and slowly realize the chat has one more member than it should… and something has been waiting for a real connection to pull the rest through.
You play it the way you’d actually live it: reading messages as they come in, opening photos, checking missed calls at 2 AM, and surviving little interactive moments along the way. There are three different endings depending on what you do.
Plays right in your browser.
Headphones strongly recommended (the sound is a big part of it)
⏱️ ~10–15 minutes
If you give it a shot, I’d hugely appreciate a rating and any thoughts , what worked, what scared you, anything that felt off, or which ending you got. This is my jam entry so honest feedback genuinely helps, and I’ll happily play and rate yours back if you drop a link!
