While I'm not opposed to the idea of eventually fighting the vampire bat, I saw suggestions of maybe finding him in danger and actually helping him out and I think I like that idea more. Maybe it could be a thing of you encounter him in his lair, and from there you could either fight him or leave him alive and if you leave him alive he shows up in later events.
As it stands, you can fly up from within the area you find the creator in and clip through the ground to wherever you want; however, upon clipping through the ground, things bug out (the color effect remains where it shouldn't, monster level doesn't increase, etc.) and you can't get back into the cave to fix it due to the cabin and trapdoor disappearing if you do. Going through a portal fixes everything.
Is that how that happens? I did that by accident and was kind of freaking out lol. I was just sitting there hitting him and getting juice thinking "my god he must have ate the tiger"
