Only just noticed this, but checked it out on steam, WAAAAAAAY more balanced, and still super fun!
I did start lagging towards the end, and I've got a pretty beefy pc.
The only thing I'll say, and this isn't really a complaint, rather just something I'd like to see. I'd like to see future upgrades effect earlier units. I know you have things like give all units +5 block, but it would be cool if like the paladin had an upgrade that said like "all squires gain +5 block" or something like that, keeps older units having some use rather than them just becoming cannon fodder.
Loved the tome that buffed your cursor btw (I forget it's name) I had one run where I got like 10 of them, stored them all to the end and then unloaded like a machine gun on everything on screen lol.
You forgot dig radius, that was also very useful. I disagree with you though about dig speed though, it's useful early game as it speeds up runs, which means you complete runs faster, thus earning money faster.
I agree that move speed was pretty useless though as it only made a small speed increase even when maxed.
Loved it!
Played through chapter 2 several times and got all the upgrades (apart from maxing subscriptions, not sure if that had a max).
My fave hero was the archer, really fun to see arrows bouncing all around the screen lol.
The price increase of blue packs get's pretty intense, I get why you did it, but having to choose between the yellow or blue pack, when they cost almost the same price but the yellow ones are just better makes the blue ones kinda pointless...Not sure what the solution is, just thought I'd mention it.
Really enjoyed it though and will def buy when it releases
Wishlisted on steam!
Nice game, I thoroughly enjoyed it, even if some of the hints were a little obscure (Unlocking Admin stretched my brain too it's limit...)
The only real complaint I have is about the vending machine, clicking to put a coin in, then moving to a number, clicking that, then moving too another number, and clicking that, then waiting for it to vend (if you haven't unlocked insta vend yet) it was all just a bit monotonous when you want to buy a lot of drinks, maybe an upgrade at some point that allows you to auto input coins, so you don't have to click it, and another that let's you reorder the vending machine, so you could put whatever you want on 1-1 and then just spam click it would be nice.
Purchased the game, played through it twice to see both endings.
Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed my time with the game, it was fairly fun, buuuut...
To ask for money for this is shocking to me. The game reminded me a bit of Theory of Magic, although Theory of Magic has months of content to play, and is completely free...
I'm not saying that you shouldn't ask for money, but for such a short experience, it's really not in a position to be asking for money yet, it's just not worth it...
