I'll add that this is less a case of being reset and more of a case that the values are taken from memory or whatever. If you load a second save file on an ongoing game then the relation points will carry over from the first. If you restart the game instance they will either be some defaults or 0.

Someone liked this game so much, they copied the premise, and straight up ripped a part of this page's description under their own name. (Probably using AI.)
