Great pixel art and impressive how compelling and intense it is given how simple it seems. Definitely a bunch of the little bits of polish, like the shrinking circles and lines, really elevate it. Very nice!

Even without the nostalgia of having played the original as a kid, this has a lot of charm. There are a lot of really nice little touches that make it shine.
