Thank you for your reply and advice! I’m already using Git to manage and archive my source code, and it really is convenient and useful.
I wish you all the best with your development!
Hi everyone, I’m a beginner game developer and I know some GDScript.
I’d like to join GameDev.tv Game Jam 2026, and I’m planning to use AI to assist with development, including generating some code and art assets.
For AI-generated code, I will carefully test, modify, and understand it to make sure it works properly before release. For AI-generated art assets, I will also review, select, and manually edit them, rather than using low-quality or unedited AI output.
I’d like to ask: would this approach be acceptable for this game jam? I will also clearly disclose which AI tools and asset sources I used on the submission page.
Thank you!
