ooooh where to start!!
I’ve been wanting to make characters for Household by Two Little Mice, the setting (an abandoned 19th century House , where tiny people have whole nations in each room) and the species (fairies, boggarts, sylphs, sprites, and others ) are so cool!!
And the system is pretty simple from what I can tell—it’s the setting info that’s the bulk of the book. For characters you choose a profession, type of Folk, where they live, and some skills!
And I have to plug Triangle Agency, it’s my favorite game and character creation is super fun. Choose a type of supernatural power, or “anomaly”, your home life or “reality” and your job “competency” . The categories for each are broad enough to give you a lot of space to put your own spin on it: “overbooked” reality can be “guy who has 5 different janitor jobs” or “athlete training for the Olympics” . A “Catalogue” anomaly agent can be a cartoon-style hammerspace weilder or a zoologist with animal kingdom themed inventory to draw from.
Hi y'all! about 3 weeks left to get your holiday missions in! There's no length or complexity requirement, excited to see both mission seeds and complex adventures! As an additional bonus, after the jam ends, I'd love to try to do at least small piece of art for each mission submitted! You can see my art here.
Thought I'd include a link to a blog post that's been really helping me figure out mission planning. There are also a lot of great mission templates on the haunted table discord server!
Feel free to post your own tips and resources in this thread too! Including anything on the server, didn't want to repost without permission!
Hey, thanks!! :D happy for the interest!! Its always really motivating
I've let TS simmer in my brain for a bit (while I play even more Good Society and Triangle Agency among other games haha) But hoping to do at least a oneshot playtest in October! So planning to give it some more attention in September <3 I'd love to make a Regency-set mission to go along with it too, I think that'll help me figure out a lot!
