This was a blast, good stuff

This one was written about my dad, two years ago recently. I'm not sure it ever really leaves, you just contextualize it differently. Working on this really just led me to realize all the small things and places I see him in, and left me with more to unpack than when I started. Wishing you all the best as you grieve and heal, and thank you for spending time with this; I'm glad it could help in whatever small way.

Really, really good stuff. Captures the feel of blobbers in a different setting, and it's nice to have a card game that isn't an RLDB. Wishlisted.

Such crazy design going on here. Innovative use of tank controls, a take on the multi-monitor trope that actually feels fresh, "jank" that actually has a very deliberate place in the game's identity. Seeing a jam game with such concrete identity is so wild, full release when?

Heck yeah! Glad you were able to finish it- definitely some quality of life stuff that needs to change in a more polished version.

I always find SFX to be a particular challenge on Gameboy where they can feel very overbearing- I do agree there definitely needs to be more though! (and you know, music)

For a test environment especially, it already sets such an immediate mood and tone- it's very evocative, I would love to see this taken to completion with some more authored gameplay!

Yeeeesss thank you!! Jumpscares are well and good but I would always rather aim for more of an unsettling aura that just sticks with you.

Thanks! The dialogue trees on this one ended up really broken, so it plays a lot faster than I wanted it to- but the world would be a fun one to build more on, I think

oof I KNOW, I've gotten this feedback a lot since I first made it :')- unfortunately this was made like 9 months ago at this point, and I lost the actual file for the game, (it was a quick jam project that I never expected people to look at), so editing anything would require me to rebuild the game entirely. I do luckily still have all the art though, so once I finish my current project I might put up a more polished version of this!

thanks! "vaguely unsettling" is what I strive for in my day to day life at all times, also pretty fond of "ominous" and "lightly menacing".
