thank you for the advice. I've never heard of scrivener but that looks amazing for my mountain of first drafts, some being like 600+ pages. i've been using libreoffice and openoffice before that....not really good for shuffling passages and pages.

ill give this a try too because i have a ton of bookmarks i almost completely forget exist. i'd call it akin to thought gardening.

heya, i'm a bit of a note and bookmark hoarder that finds myself not particularly in love with OneNote. it's decent as far as a free digital notebook goes but it's kinda clunky with it's pan and scroll and doesn't handle switching between monitor resolutions gracefully (encountered that frustration when i downscaled from a 1440p to 1080p monitor). i've got like 3 years worth of breadcrumb trails that i'll never bring myself to deleting...i really like the look of this.

any comparisons you can give between onenote and this?

also here's a clip of one of my journal pages, can this support a similar kind of layout/styling?
