Wow this means so much to hear thank you!

I try to make a lot of fragments, and go organically, based on pieces that fit together over beginning too much with structure in mind (that's something I try to work on, so it's cool actually you heard that with the structure!). It really helps me to find music I feel really inspired by or want to write like, then just try to figure out in the DAW what kind of chord their using, etc, just something small then vary it - I try to make a bunch of fragments, then see how they fit, which can help a lot with structure. It can take a super long time before something sticks, so I try to come up with as much as I can until things start to find a way to connect with each other. I really like any note that's short, so the sample being precise, can let us keep adding notes that come through in the mix. Definitely listen to cynax/artcore for fast moving harmony changes! (I also try to listen to a lot of action music in films and games, so there's a lot of experiments and styles I try to test out)

Hope that's helpful for the question, thanks again :)!

Appreciate it!

Wow thank you! I'm a big fan of Sky too, I'm totally honored

Amazing!! From the concept to execution, wow. The writing and details throughout, everything gets blended so seamlessly. Really cinematic use of harmony, especially some of the quartal elements at the beginning of Vessel of the Stars. Crazy job!

Means so much ;v; thank you!!

Wonderful harmony and ambient texture - functions so well as both a song to feel and to listen to, could definitely imagine several game or film settings this would fit well in. Amazing job with this!

Really nice to hear this, esp narrative, thank you!

Really appreciate it, thank you!

Always nice to hear your medieval style. Super interesting use of lyre and bottles in addition to layering in spoken narrative like a play. Agree with others on flow and organic/raw - many cool ideas through a very solid mix. Amazing concept and work!

I like the vibe! It has a kind of city-like or noir feel across the tracks, which I think works great for the concept you have in mind. A nice mix too with some drumming vs piano and strings, so I feel the cohesion is there.

Awesome! Yeaaa I actually feel that, boss sometimes can be slower. I actually was looking for film action thriller or car chase for a recent boss project. DMC iirc had some cool use of rock for its stuff, so yea feels some innovative territory happening here

Sorry! I totally missed the file. I relistened rereading with the story - I won't have as much to say as a total non-writer, but I love the story and the atmosphere the tracks create for the reader. I can see how the decisions and detail you put into the process must've helped that, really interesting read!

Holy your action writing is amazing! I was like okay At Last I'm liking this subtle atmosphere- WTF. So solid action writing for those 3 and blend with electronics and strings, I think it's octatonic or something? The scale works really nicely over it. Great job! Really nice art too :)

Ofc :) keep it up!

You really know what to do with ambiances wow! Everything's really well placed, natural sounding also deliberate - love the The vocal-like, effects and little chime sounds Revival Rejuvination, it starts off a hollow sound that kinda sounds like bones or something? but then opens up and the meaning of the sounds change with the flute-like thing and synth as the string/pads come in like the combination per each track works so well. The orchestral transition with timpani i think Cyclical Severance works great, i like the instruments and kind of tech-y sounds that come through, lot of detail you put in. Transcendence great way to end the track too, def feels freedom! Anyways, awesome job!

Really nice to hear this thank you so much!

The little animals in your daw are peak haha, super nice writing throughout wow! Really catchy rhythms all around -  A lively catch, Of All the Buttons to Press,  The Benthic Hour. So many highlights, also Please don't catch the electronics giving adventure time. They're all so different, but feels cohesive under your style, amazing work, production!

This means a lot thank you haha!

Thanks so much! Check out Cynax or Artcore if this style interests you! He has some livestreams can help to see how he composes

Below the skylight percussive panned effect and vocaloid-like are super cool wow! Amazed with the effects like Linalool, totally could see this already in a rhythm game. I like Goodbyes' kinda disordered, foreboding feel. I'm curious if you had a sense of narrative for the songs ahead of time?

I agree with Jen, just really really good writing, that fits right in with the SNES vibe, and hits a lot of balance and nuance -  like Tide you Over feeling mysterious to match the quote while beachy, etc. Everything's really cohesive, polished too!

A strong cinematic presence and clear narrative throughout! The strings are emotive, and carry us - great use of dynamics and articulation, >~1:20 Onward stands out, with really calming piano at the end - 2:00 Lunar Eclipse too, actually reminded me a bit of beth harmon scenes? like emotive piano moment, and lot of great structural moments throughout! The emotional elements are a strength, awesome work!

Aw haha thanks!

Yea nice work! The dreamy and lonely feelings come across respectively through harmony. Agree with slaw, sycopated base could go great to bring out the rhythm even more, the counterlines are nice. And yes, love the panning and mix!

Super funky, great musicality throughout! Not much else I have to say, could see this from a retro game!

Really impressed with you using Milktracker, elegant kind of classical writing that fit each track well. Great work!

Wow such a beautiful ambient score! Koniologer's score is super nice wind harmony, sounds like something ancient or liminal, Well-Oiled Mileau too. Ponedia has a really nice playful touch. The schooldays + anomolous vibe definitely comes across in pallete and composition. The piano in Toy Soldiers was really interesting. Botanica might interest you if you wanted to add sound design. Great work!

Lots of personality! Carnival and Nostalgia nail the cutesy vibe, and love how reflective wonder and Last Summer Night are. I'm thinking I agree on a stronger progression or instrument to strengthen it. But this manages to be really effective at making each note count which can be really hard to do, the call and response definitely stood out to me as a big strength. Awesome job!

Thanks!

Love how eerie this is! Something stardew and FF meets liminal? Lots of tension compacted in. "Decescendos" is cool contrast between fast rhythm and synths that maybe would play in something more still? Sorta liminal + breakcore which is super cool. Awesome job!

Really appreciate it! Def great suggestion taikos - I wanted thicker orchestration, but yes ahaha most of the structure came last minute.
