I like your backgrounds! every project I see, I get the feeling that I would've had an easier time had I found assets to use in my game instead of trying to make my own.

Additionally, I like the concept of your first puzzle. The logic gates were definitely fun. I thought that your game would've been longer with more of that kind of puzzle, but I guess not. Still, nice game!

Its a nice and simple game. The background is definingly something to look at everyone else always seems to have better art than me and it doesn't seem fair! T-T

I will say however that the spaceship moves a bit slow. I found myself pressing shift the whole time and being forced to a crawl when I inevitably ran out of boost. 
Another thing I would recommend is maybe changing how the enemy ships fire? There were times where I was unable to fire back at ships because they kept a constant stream of bullets!

Overall, solid retro build. simple and sweet!
