I understand the developer not wanting to implement it, but I think it would help the game's popularity a ton.
I was bummed to see you couldn't play it online and I would have 100% bought it along with my friends to play it together.
Maybe even a LAN feature could work! There are softwares that let you host virtual LAN networks to play LAN "online".
I'm looking forwards to any update to the game regarding any kind of online multiplayer.
